Modular support system for plumbing connections
11085557 · 2021-08-10 ·

The presently disclosed technology generally provides a modular support system for plumbing connections. In one example, the system includes a frame, a connector that fits entirely in front of a support stud, and an optional housing. The frame includes symmetrical sides, each including a rail assembly. The connector includes first opposed sidewalls, each having a pair of boxways that receive the rails on any side of a frame unit to form a sliding joint between the frame and connector. Second opposed sidewalls include flexible tabs that engage frame corner flanges to prevent rearward disengagement of the connector from the frame. The housing includes structure for connection with the frame. The housing can be rotated for connection with the frame to receive vertical or horizontal plumbing lines. Connectors can connect the frame units in vertical or horizontal relation, or on either side of a building stud, or to brackets.

MODULAR HOUSING AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND MANUFACTURE

Systems and methods for modular dwelling units that may be combined into a modular building. The modular dwelling units may be fluidly isolated from each other by a sealing system that prevents fluids from leaking into adjacent modular dwelling units, and a subfloor system that is tilted to drain fluids towards a conduit that leads away from the modular building. The modular dwelling units may include one or more sensors that generate signals based upon conditions within the modular dwelling unit and/or based on occupants of the modular dwelling unit. The modular dwelling units may include one or more processor-based devices that may generate an alarm and/or control one or more actuators or valves in response to the signals received from the sensors.

Water drain management apparatus used with autoclaves, sterilizers or other devices in a clinical facility
11105077 · 2021-08-31 · ·

A water drain management apparatus used in clinical facility (43) or other facility includes a manifold plumbing fitting (32, 272, 384). The fitting includes a plurality of drain outlet connections for water discharge devices (40, 42, 222, 226, 230, 234). Such water discharge devices may include devices such as autoclaves, sterilizers, cleaners, washers, filters, humidifiers, condensing devices and other devices used in the facility. A plurality of drain fitting openings in the body of the fitting are connectable to respective water discharge devices, and openings that are not utilized are closable with plugs. Some manifold fittings (272, 344, 384, 482) include an air gap opening (288, 360, 392, 530). These configurations provide an air gap that prevents contamination due to back flow of water within the fitting reaching water discharge devices or the body inlet of the manifold fitting.

Impact reducer for drainage stacks

An impact reducer for drainage stacks includes a first pipe section with a first internal passage having at least five alternating bends along its longitudinal axis, a bypass vent in a second pipe section having a second internal passage parallel to the longitudinal axis and a clean out plug in a third pipe section having a third internal passage at a radial angle with the longitudinal axis. First and second end fittings are located on the impact reducer for connecting the device to a drainage pipe. The impact reducer adjusts the turbulent flow of water falling in the drainage stack, converting the turbulent flow to laminar flow before the lower bend fitting of the drainage stack, which protects the lower bend fitting from impact shock.

Sewage line plug assembly

A sewage line plug assembly is disclosed herein. The assembly comprises a plug housing having a hollow configuration. Additionally, a diaphragm plate is disposed within the plug housing including a first element disposed on the first operative end of the diaphragm plate. Furthermore, first element is configured to depress due to pressure acting thereon due to sewage build up inside a sewage line. The housing further includes a second element disposed on the inner bottom end of the housing. Additionally, the second element interacts with the first element and is configured to depress due to depression of first element. Sewage line plug assembly further includes an alarm unit coupled to second element and configured to sound an alarm on depression of second element. The alarm sound of the alarm unit is configured to sound when the pressure exceeds a pre-determined threshold value.
