Sink disposer splash guard
A splash guard is adapted to be removably mounted in a neck portion of a sink disposer. The splash guard basically comprises a generally cylindrical sleeve which is sized to slidably fit into the neck portion of the disposer and defines a central bore; an upper ledge partially obstructing an upper portion of the central bore; a central ledge partially obstructing a medial portion of the central bore in opposition to the upper ledge; and a chute extending downwardly from a portion of the sleeve opposite the central ledge and terminating below said central ledge.
CENTRALIZED TREATMENT DEVICES FOR KITCHEN WASTE
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a centralized treatment device for kitchen waste. The centralized treatment device includes an upper box, an outer cover, a pulverizer, an inner cover, a filter press, a drying granulator, a lower box, an electrolysis device, a hanging basket, a material box, an exhaust fan, and a linkage mechanism. Smashed kitchen waste is subjected to solid-liquid separation by the filter press. Filter residues enter the drying granulator to be partially carbonized, and partially carbonized filter residues and mixed powder treatment agent form solid residue particles. The solid residue particles degrade and adsorb pollutants in the water after being activated by an acidic solution. Meanwhile, accumulated water-absorbing solid residue particles help to degrade the pollutants in the water through the electrolysis device. A separation area is configured to separate oil and discharge the oil separately.
Food Waste Disposer Interlock Device
An interlock device coupled to a magnetically activated switch when the interlock device is removably seated in a sink flange coupled to a food waste disposer, comprising: a base having interlock device magnets, a recessed seat having drain holes, a helical cam, a strainer basket adjoined to a rotatably mounted spindle having a handle adjoined thereto, opposing nubs, which travel within the helical cam, when the handle is twisted, a spindle mounted seal adapted to block flow through the interlock device, when the spindle mounted seal is releasably seated in the recessed seat, and allowing fluid to flow through the interlock device, when the spindle mounted seal is releasably unseated from the recessed seat; the interlock device activating the food waste disposer when the interlock device is removably seated in the sink flange and one of the interlock device magnets is adjacent a switch magnet of the magnetically activated switch.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL WITH DOOR AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY
A garbage disposal assembly includes a garbage disposal and switch assembly. Each may be independent of the other in operation. The disposal assembly includes a housing with an opening for passage of particulates into an interior volume. A motor is located within the housing. A flywheel and impellers break up the particulates. An access door permits access into the interior volume separate from that of the opening at the sink. The switch assembly has a switch housing with a dial and a switch. Power to the switch is regulated by the dial which pulses a single amount of power through the switch when the switch is activated. The switch rests in a neutral position allowing a single contact by a user to activate and deactivate an electronic device coupled to the switch assembly.
REVERSIBLE BAFFLE FOR DISPOSER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF IMPLEMENTING SAME IN A SINK FLANGE OF A DISPOSER SYSTEM
Baffles for disposer systems, as well as disposer systems employing such baffles and methods of implementing and operating such baffles and disposer systems, are disclosed herein. In at least one example embodiment, a baffle includes a cylindrical rim and a plurality of pleats that are attached to, or integrally formed with, the cylindrical rim. A first face of the baffle includes a first structural characteristic and a second face includes a second structural characteristic. The first and second structural characteristics are of a same type but also are different, whereby due at least in part to the first and second structural characteristics being different from one another, the baffle is capable of being implemented within the disposer system in either of first and second orientations, respectively, so that the disposer system is configured to operate to achieve either of first and second functional objectives, respectively.
Food waste disposal device
The present invention relates to a food waste disposer that is configured to allow an opening and closing plate adapted to open and close a drain pipe to be open only when a motor operates, so that normally, the drain pipe from which water is discharged is closed, thereby preventing bad smell and sewage from flowing backward from the drain pipe, to allow a propeller adapted to forcedly discharge the water from a casing to the drain pipe to be driven reversely and to thus close the opening and closing plate if the motor is driven reversely, so that gears inside a pulverizing part rotate to circulate the water in the casing and thus to automatically clean the casing, without any separation of the casing, and to allow a magnetic material to be built in a hopper so that if iron introduced into the hopper is sensed by sensors, the pulverizing part stops working and is thus prevented from being damaged by the iron.
KITCHEN GARBAGE PROCESSOR
A kitchen garbage processor, includes: a processor body, a dewatering component, and an oil-water separating component, the processor body has a working platform disposed thereon, an inlet for dumping kitchen garbage is disposed on the working platform, a fore end of the dewatering component is communicated with the inlet and configured to send a kitchen garbage that to be processed to the dewatering component to separate a solid garbage from a liquid garbage; a solid garbage outlet configured for sending out a processed solid garbage and a liquid garbage outlet configured for sending out a residual liquid garbage are disposed at a rear end of the dewatering component; a fore end of the oil-water separating component is communicated with the liquid garbage outlet so as to send liquid garbage that to be processed to the oil-water separating component to separate oil from water; an oil outlet configured for sending out separated oil and a water outlet configured for sending out separated water are disposed at a rear end of the oil-water separating component. Purpose of separating solid garbage, oil and water simultaneously is realized.
Method and device for comminuting kitchen waste and/or food residues
A method for comminuting kitchen waste and/or food residues includes receiving kitchen waste and/or food residues in a funnel, a base of which is provided with a grinding unit for comminuting the kitchen waste and/or food residues and which is connected by the grinding unit via a product line to a pump for pumping away comminuted kitchen waste and/or food residues, and pumping away the kitchen waste and/or food residues comminuted by the grinding unit. Prior to the pumping-away step, precomminution of the kitchen waste and/or food residues located in the funnel is carried out in the funnel by means of a precomminution unit projecting into the funnel. A correspondingly designed device for implementing the method is also described.
Self-cleaning garbage disposal system, and method of operation
A self-cleaning garbage disposal system is provided including a container having a neck portion leading to a container opening and a flow switch valve for connecting the container to a dishwasher drain hose. The flow switch valve is switchable to an open position to allow dishwasher water to be fed to the container from the dishwasher drain hose and to a closed position to not allow dishwasher water to be fed to the container from the dishwasher drain hose based on a rotational position. The garbage disposal system can include a garbage disposal cap to be rotationally inserted into the container opening, and the flow switch valve operation can respond to the rotational position of the garbage disposal cap. Sensors can be provided on the garbage disposal cap and the neck portion of the container to detect the rotational position of the garbage disposal cap.
