APPARATUS FOR AN ADJUSTABLE P-TRAP
20200040560 · 2020-02-06 ·

An adjustable P-trap for a sink is presented. The P-trap has a semi-rigid J-shaped tube with a diameter between one inch and two inches. The J-tube has a long end to connect to a sink drain and a short end to connect to a wall drain. When the long or short end do not reach the appropriate drain an extension tube is cut to length during installation. The long end of the J-tube has threads constructed to receive a threaded adapter and the short end of the J-tube also has threads constructed to receive the extension tube. When a first hose clamp (4a) to clamp the threaded adapter in the long end of the J-tube. When the extension tube is used, the extension tube is mated with the appropriate end and hose clamp is used to secure the two together. The extension tube is then mated to the sink or wall drain.

Washdown flush toilet

In a washdown flush toilet, a water discharge trap conduit includes: an inlet pipe part connected to a bowl part receiving waste; a trap ascending pipe part connected to the inlet pipe part and forming an ascending flow channel; and a trap descending pipe part connected to the trap ascending pipe part and forming a descending flow channel. With regard to a cross section perpendicular to a flow direction of the ascending flow channel, a portion on a downstream side of the ascending flow channel is provided with an enlarged part having a cross section area larger than that on an upstream side of the ascending flow channel. A downstream end of the ascending flow channel and/or an upstream side of the descending flow channel is provided with a shrunk part having a cross section area smaller than that on the upstream side of the ascending flow channel.

A system of pipe insulating sleeves includes a series of elastomeric foam insulating sleeves that are capable of opening up to, and beyond, 180 degrees, to accommodate and capture an undersink pipe. The disclosed system may include a number of different sleeves that are capable of coupling to one another at respective couplers so as to form the system. The sleeves may include fastening mechanisms to retain the sleeves in the closed configuration while capturing the pipe, so as to create a smooth, streamlined appearance that is aesthetically pleasing. Also disclosed is a method of installing the sleeves. The sleeves are made of an elastomeric foam material that has heat insulating properties, and which may also have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that make it particularly advantageous for use in undersink pipe insulating.

DISINFECTING DRAIN TRAPS SYSTEM

A disinfecting drain trap system for reducing the growth of microorganisms in drain traps, the disinfecting drain trap system comprising at least one heating module, one mechanical vibration module; and an off-centered drain trap, wherein the off-centered drain trap comprises at least one collection portion.

Drain assembly, drain body for use in such an assembly and odor trap of use in such an assembly

The invention pertains to an odor trap, which comprises a first drainage channel situated between an inlet and an outlet, comprising, viewed in the flow direction, a first closing wall for the closing off of an uppermost part of the drainage channel and a second closing wall for the closing off of a lowermost part of the first drainage channel. The first and second closing walls, viewed in a horizontal direction, overlap. The odor trap comprises an elongated main body. The inlet substantially extends over the length of a first planar surface of the main body, which first planar surface is determined by the first closing wall. The second closing wall is situated in the main body. The outlet is situated in a second planar surface, situated opposite the first planar surface. The invention also pertains to a drain body and a drain assembly.
