Apparatus for quickly and efficiently cleaning and disinfecting sink drains and sink overflow holes
Apparatus for cleaning and disinfecting sink drains and overflow holes. The apparatus includes: a cleaning fluid dispenser having a cleaning fluid reservoir, and a dispensing mechanism with a fluid dispensing port. Cleaning fluid is forced from the cleaning fluid reservoir out via the fluid dispensing port. A flexible tube is attached to the fluid dispensing port, and a support wire is affixed at its proximal end to the inside of the fluid dispensing port. A cylindrical brush is attached to a distal end of the support wire, which runs inside the tube along its length from the dispensing port to the cylindrical brush, so the tube can provide cleaning fluid to the cylindrical brush. The flexible tube is durable under repeated use, sliding in and out of the overflow hole and the drain of a sink, while the wire prevents the tube from kinking.
COMPACT DRAIN SNAKE
A drain snake may include a hollow body having a rearward end and a forward end, and a longitudinal axis extending between the rearward and forward ends. The forward end has a cable feed passage. The drain snake may further include a cable having a first portion coiled in the body around the axis in a location between the rearward and forward ends. The cable has a second portion extending out of the feed passage of the forward end of the hollow body. The drain snake also include a fastener extending through the body at the forward end and into the feed passage to secure and release the cable.

DRILL BIT
An improved drill bit is a drill bit designed for use with a drain snake unclogging apparatus for sewer pipes having an arrowhead shaped point attached to a short drill bit sized for sewer pipes and having helical grooves along its length for material that has been cut or loosened by the pointed chisel bit to move rearward through the grooves away from the clogged material. The bit is more effective for solid plugs within a pipeline in that it cuts the clogging material into pieces instead of being design for gripping and pulling the clog.
Systems and methods for unclogging a drain
A system and method for unclogging a drain involving at least one internal member and at least one external member. At least one member is ferromagnetic, and at least one member is a magnet. External members may have handles. Internal members are disposed inside a pipe and external members are disposed outside a pipe. When an external member is moved, the magnetic force between the internal and external members causes the internal member to move. Internal members can be disposed such that they cause a clog to move further into the drain system. Internal members can also be disposed such that they are below the clog when it forms, allowing the internal members to move the clog out of the pipe system, into the sink, toilet, or other basin. Safety members can be disposed below the internal members to prevent loss of internal members into pipe system.

DISPOSABLE UNCLOGGING APPARATUS
A disposable cleaning device for unclogging toilets and other bathroom appliances in a sanitary manner is generally comprised of an elongated core or handle joined to a pointed and/or barbed head. When a user has a clog, the user can retrieve a disposable cleaning device and, gripping the handle vertically above the toilet, insert the head into the toilet trapway passage and past the clogging material. The user can provide a gentle twisting motion, or push the sanitary device in and out in a reciprocating motion, or other suitable motion to break up and clear the clog. Once the clog is broken up, the sanitary device is simply released into the toilet bowl, where it will dissolve and/or disintegrate. After a short amount of time, the user simply flushes the toilet, removing both the clogged material and the sanitary device.

CLOSET AUGER
A closet auger includes an elongated casing member extending along an axis, and an elongated drive member telescopically received in the casing member and movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the casing member along the axis. The drive member is rotatable relative to the casing member about the axis. The closet auger further includes a flexible cable having an end removably connectable to the drive member in first and second configurations, where a length of the flexible cable is retracted within or extended from the drive member, respectively. A cable retention assembly is supported by the casing member and selectively engageable with the flexible cable to inhibit movement of the flexible cable relative to the casing member. The drive member is movable relative to the flexible cable when the cable retention assembly engages the flexible cable to change between the first and second configurations.
