An arrangement for use with a washbasin. The arrangement includes a mounting box configured to fasten to a wall or to a mounting frame. The mounting box includes connections for water supply and water drain and fasteners configured to fasten to the mounting box for mounting the washbasin to the wall or mounting frame. The arrangement further includes holding and guide elements configured to hold the washbasin while mounting the washbasin to the mounting box. The holding and guide elements comprise at least two drawer slides each having a fixed part and a moveable part. The fixed part is fixedly connected to the mounting box. The moveable part is configured to directly connect to the washbasin within a recess that is defined by the washbasin and disposed on a backside of the washbasin. The moveable part is further configured to move with the washbasin relative to the fixed part.

A washbasin installation arrangement (1), at least comprising a washbasin (2), a first functional unit (3) and a second functional unit (4), wherein the first functional unit (3) can be arranged on a wall element (5) and the second functional unit is connected to the washbasin (2), and wherein the functional units can be used to attach the washbasin (2) to the wall element (5). Further disclosed is also a method of assembling a washbasin installation arrangement (1).

A washbasin installation arrangement (1), at least comprising a washbasin (2), a first functional unit (3) and a second functional unit (4), wherein the first functional unit (3) can be arranged on a wall element (5) and the second functional unit is connected to the washbasin (2), and wherein the functional units can be used to attach the washbasin (2) to the wall element (5). A brace for a wall-mounted toilet, particularly useful for wall-mounted porcelain toilets in hospitals and other health care facilities. The brace includes a weight receiving structure supported by cantilevered struts that attach the brace to the wall, preferably using the same bolts that attach the toilet to the wall. The weight receiving structure may be a seat portion that overlies the rim of the toilet bowl, so that the weight of the user is transmitted from the toilet seat to the seat structure and then to the walls through the struts. Alternately, the weight receiving structure may include an under-bowl support that extends underneath the toilet bowl so that the user's weight is transmitted from the bowl to the wall through the struts. Thus, the cantilevered brace increases the weight-bearing capacity of the wall-mounted toilet. A plastic shroud may be included for enclosing the brace and toilet bowl.

At least one fastening unit is provided with a support element with a guide receptacle and a fastening tab which is mounted in the guide receptacle so as to slide relative to the support element from a starting position into a mounting position. The support element can be inserted in the internal space of the hollow profile, and, in the mounting position, the fastening tab extends out of the guide receptacle and out of the internal space beyond the end face of the hollow profile.
