VOLUME CONTROLLABLE TOILET FLUSH SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
20180051449 · 2018-02-22 ·

A volume controllable toilet flush system, comprising: a cistern configured to hold and retain a fluid; a vertically moveable siphon assembly comprising a siphon portion, a pipe and at least one resilient element attached to the pipe; a toilet bowl shaped to retain and hold waste; an actuator operatively connected to the pipe by a stud attached to the pipe and configured to provide vertical movement to the siphon assembly, wherein movement of the siphon assembly by the actuator stores or releases energy in the at least one resilient element and, wherein downward vertical movement of the siphon assembly puts the toilet bowl in fluid communication with the cistern by creating a siphoning action between the siphon portion and the fluid in the cistern and wherein subsequent upward vertical movement of the siphon assembly terminates the siphoning action to stop fluid flow from the cistern to the toilet bowl.

The invention relates to a device for reducing the flushing stream from a sanitary flush box, in particular a toilet flush box, which contains a drain valve, a drain connection, and a valve seat formed on the drain connection, freeing an outlet opening delimited by the drain connection, said device comprising a throttle, which defines at least one free flow cross section. To provide a device, by means of which the flushing stream from a sanitary flush box can be adjusted, the invention proposes that the throttle, viewed in the flushing stream flow direction, is arranged behind the valve seat on or in the drain connection of the drain valve or in a connection piece receiving the drain connection, the throttle comprising at least two throttle elements, one of which can be rotated relative to the other, the size of the free flow cross section can be changed.

TOUCHLESS FLUSHING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A touchless actuation system for a toilet includes a touchless sensor, a motor assembly, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to receive a signal from the touchless sensor and to detect an object within a detection region based on the signal. The touchless sensor lacks an optical path to the detection region. In some embodiments, the touchless sensor is a projected capacitive sensor. The processing circuit is configured to activate the motor assembly upon detecting the object and the motor assembly is configured to actuate flushing of the toilet when activated by the processing circuit.

Universal canister flush valve

A universal canister flush valve having a valve body configured to be fixed relative to a toilet tank and having a hollow wall defining an internal flow passage; a guide post coupled to and extending away from the valve body; a float fitted about and configured to slide relative to the guide post between a closed position and an open position, the float having an open top; and an extender that selectively couples to the open top in a first position, in which a first end of the extender is received in and coupled to the open top, and in a second position, in which a second end of the extender is received in and coupled to the open top, wherein the extender and float define a first overflow height in the first position and define a second overflow height in the second position.

Discharge selector for water-closets
09702131 · 2017-07-11 ·

The invention relates to a discharge selector for water-closets, that allows the control of the discharge of water from the cistern of the water-closet into the bowl, in two different proportions, which allows less water to be used when liquids are to be removed from the bowl and a larger proportion of the content of the cistern to be discharged when solids are to be removed from the bowl. Said device consists of a single part provided with mechanisms that allow it to operate in the described manner and also allows the quantity of water discharged to be adjusted within a certain range. The device is universally applicable and does not leak water even if the packaging loses elasticity. The device can be installed by the user thereof as the installation is just as easy as that of the replacement flap in any currently commonly used discharge valve.

Two-level water flushing device for toilets

The invention relates to a two-level water flushing device for toilets (10), which allows the user to easily select between either a partial flush for liquid waste or a full flush for solid waste. The device (10) can be easily installed without requiring the toilet cistern (11) to be modified in any way. The device consists of five main parts: a modified overflow pipe (15), a full flush valve (30) mounted on the water flow casing (15B) of the modified overflow pipe (15), an adjustable height pipe nipple (45), a partial flush valve (55), and a pair of flush handles (65 and 70). In order to perform a partial flush, the partial flush handle (70) is pressed and, in order to perform a full flush, the full flush handle (65) is pressed.

Flush water volume regulator, flush water tank apparatus comprising said flush water volume regulator, and flush toilet comprising said flush water tank

A flush water volume regulator is provided, capable of constraining the occurrence of a buoyancy force acting on a water reservoir, whereby flush water in the water reservoir can be circulated with flush water in a flush water tank outside the water reservoir. The flush water volume regulator 38 of the invention has a water reservoir, being a water reservoir 40 disposed inside this flush water tank 16, capable of storing a predetermined amount of flush water, on which an opening 40a through which flush water within water reservoir 40 and flush water outside water reservoir 40 can pass, and an opening-closing valve 42 for opening 40a during the standby state before starting a flush and for blocking opening 40a or reducing the opening surface area of opening 40a when the water level inside flush water tank 16 is dropping after starting a flush.

DUAL FLUSH DEVICE FOR TOILETS

A dual flush device comprises a mounting structure and a float to retrofit single flush toilets to dual flush toilets. The mounting structure is attached to an overflow tube and connected to the float with a vertical bar along which the float can move vertically downward or upward with the water level in the toilet tank. The float includes a water-tight container and a bottom part screwed into the bottom of the container. The vertical length of the float is adjustable by rotating the bottom part either away or toward the container. Several embodiments of the mounting structure and float are invented to accommodate various toilet models. The dual flush device operates with a flapper valve and a single flush handle assembly and maintains the modular design of conventional toilets. The float will prematurely close the flapper valve in a partial flush using less water than in a full flush.

DISCHARGE VALVE DEVICE, RESERVOIR TANK DEVICE, AND FLUSH TOILET

In a discharge valve device, a protuberance penetrates a vertical channel with a raised portion engaging a channel. Thus when an attempt is made to rotate a cylindrical body in the circumferential direction with a raised portion engaging a channel, contact between the protuberance right side surface and the vertical channel restricts rotational movement of the cylindrical body in the circumferential direction.
