RECONFIGURABLE FLAPPER FOR DIFFERENT SIZED FLUSH VALVES
A flapper assembly for a flush valve as well as method of assembly are provided. The flapper assembly includes a frame and multiple buoyancy assemblies attachable to the frame so as to adjust the buoyancy of the flapper assembly. The flapper assembly kit may have adjustable legs attachable to the frame. The flapper assembly kit may have multiple seal members for use in sealing with different sized/shaped valve seats of different sized flush valves.
Primed siphonic flush toilet
A siphonic flush toilet system and method of priming the same having a toilet bowl assembly comprising at least one jet flush valve assembly and at least one rim valve; and bowl having a rim and a jet defining at least one jet channel, the at least one jet channel having an inlet port and a jet outlet port configured for discharging fluid to a sump area, wherein the sump area is in fluid communication with a trapway. The bowl has a closed jet pathway including the jet channel and extending from the jet flush valve assembly outlet to the jet channel outlet port to maintain the jet channel in a primed state with fluid from the jet flush valve assembly so as to assist in preventing air from entering the closed jet pathway. Flush valves are also disclosed having back-flow preventer mechanisms and/or at least partly flexible valve covers for use with the toilet systems and methods herein.
Toilet flapper
Toilet flappers having an adjustable length cord are disclosed. For example, a toilet flapper may include a frame with a guide structure. A float is connected to a bottom surface of the frame. A cap is connected to a top surface of the frame. A retractable cord reel is housed between the cap and the frame. During installation of the toilet flapper, a user can grab a hook attached to the end of the cord and pull enough of the cord out of the retractable cord reel and through the guide structure so that the user can attach the hook to, for example, a flush lever. In some embodiments, the toilet flapper includes a locking mechanism that impedes the cord from retracting back into retractable cord reel or from being pulled out of retractable cord reel by the user.
ADJUSTABLE TOILET FLAPPER VALVE ASSEMBLY
A toilet flapper valve assembly is provided. The flapper valve assembly has a flapper, cone and an adjustment dial. The adjustment dial controls the flow of water into and flow of air oat of the cone. Adjustment of the adjustment dial relative to the cone simultaneously adjusts die flow of water into and air out of the cone.
SELF-CLEANING TOILET
A self-cleaning toilet has: a toilet, a cleaning device, a solenoid valve and a blocking member. The toilet has a sitting toilet seat and a water tank. The sitting toilet seat is formed with a urinal, and one end of the urinal has an enlarged opening to form a seat, and the urinal tapers from the seat to the other end to form a drain elbow. The water tank is connected to the toilet with an outlet pipe, and the water tank is connected with an input pipe, a cleaning device is set in the toilet with a controller, and the controller is connected with a plurality of the ultrasonic transducers and a full water level sensor, The ultrasonic transducers are fixed on the inner wall of the urinal. The solenoid valve is connected to the input pipe, and a blocking member is connected to the drain elbow.
Apparatus to prevent a toilet from being flushed when the lid is up
A toilet having a first-magnet secured to the terminal end of the toilet's flush-arm and a second-magnet secured to the toilet's lid such that when the lid is in its open or up position, the two magnets align preventing the flush-arm from rotating upward to cause the toilet to flush. Conversely, when the lid is down and the two magnets are separated, the flush-arm can be rotated upward causing the toilet to flush. In another example, a magnet-attracting component, such as iron, cobalt or nickel, can be substituted for one of the magnets. A kit for retrofitting an existing toilet is also disclosed.
TOILET FLUSHING DEVICE USING TOILET COVER
The present invention relates to a toilet flushing device using a toilet cover. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a sliding means disposed at the front side of a water tank and configured to slide forward/backward by magnetic force to allow a drain valve to operate as soon as a toilet cover is closed; and an operation lever disposed at the rear side of the sliding means so as to open or close the drain valve, wherein the drain valve is operated to flush water by a structure in which the sliding means and the operation lever operate in cooperation in response to an operation of the toilet cover after use of the toilet. Therefore, the present invention can induce the habit of covering the toilet by the toilet cover after using the toilet and thus enhance a sanitary culture.
WATER-SAVING SIPHONIC TOILET AND EQUALIZATION SYSTEM THEREFOR
A timed pressure equalization member for use in a siphonic toilet to reduce water loss at the end of a flush cycle is disclosed. The equalization member functions to equalize the pressure in a pressurized chamber after a set period of time and consequently alleviates negative pressure within a pressurized trapway system at or near the end of a flushing cycle via a conduit, to help break the siphon at the end of the flush cycle, thereby reducing the amount of water drained from the water bowl/spot while the bowl is being refilled. At a resting state, the equalization member in the pressurized chamber is partially filled with water. The equalization member empties of water after a set period of time during a flush cycle and allows atmospheric air to enter the pressurized chamber (in fluid communication with the pressurized trapway) at or near the end of the flush cycle.
Dual flush flapper valve apparatus
A dual flush flapper valve apparatus for converting a standard toilet to a dual flush system includes a valve body having a lower rim and an upper rim. The lower rim is configured to selectively engage a tank valve of a toilet. A valve top is coupled to the valve body and is selectively engageable with the upper rim to seal and alternatively unseal a top aperture. A first chain and a second chain are configured to attach to a trip lever of the toilet to move the valve top between a closed position. The first chain and the second chain are arranged such that a partial depression of a handle of the toilet lifts the trip lever to move the valve top to the open position and a full depression of the handle lifts the trip lever further to move the valve body to the lifted position.
