An antiviral commode has a base structure including a toilet water bowl having an upper rim, a seat and top lid hinge mounted to the base structure a filter assembly including a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter disposed within a porous and metallic filter track housing mounted to the underside of the toilet top lid concentric to the toilet seat making uniform surface contact on one end with the top surface of the toilet seat when the toilet seat and top lid are closed, electronics for initiating flushing, a power source for powering the electronics, and at least one visual indicia for notification of state.

ODOR ELIMINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A TOILET
20230340769 · 2023-10-26 ·

Odoriferous gases are drawn from a toilet bowl into a passage of a valve assembly, by a fan. When filled with water, a trap downstream of the fan blocks flow of gases through the passage. Downstream of the trap, the passage is fluidly coupled to a sewer drain. During evacuation, water is drained from the trap into a fluidly coupled reservoir. After evacuation, water is displaced from the reservoir. The displaced water flows back into the trap. A portion of flush water is diverted to maintain the water level in the trap.

An animal design toilet (ADT) that functions as a conventional toilet, but has the shape appearance of an animal such as a wolf. The ADT can be made in one of two designs, based on the ;type of animal. For certain animals it is possible to use an animal structure with both the upper body and lower body. For other animals, only the upper body including the head, neck and torso can be used. When only the upper body us sued, a base section is located below and supports the upper body. Other than the appearance of an animal, the ADT functions as a typical toilet and can be utilized and placed in any application or location increase a typical toilet would be. To increase the functions lights of the ADT, an odor reduction assembly can be implemented within the ADT. The assembly includes means to pull in odor and evacuate the odor from the ADT. Also, to add to the animal appearance effect, the animals can include lights that illuminate the eyes, and a sound assembly can provide audible noises/sounds such as a howl or roar form the animal structure.

A plume cleaning system for a toilet is integrated with a toilet. In one example, a plume cleaner assembly adjacent to a toilet seat is independently removable with respect to the toilet seat. The plume cleaner assembly may include a plume cleaner, apertures, and a fan positioned to draw plume air through the plurality of apertures for treatment by the plume cleaner and expel the treated plume air out of the plume cleaner assembly in a direction at an angle to the apertures. In another example, a plume cleaner assembly with the toilet seat may include at least a fan, an electrostatic collector, and a mist generator. In another example, a plume cleaner assembly is integrated in a tank of the toilet to generate a sanitization fluid that is channeled into the toilet bowl through an overflow tube and/or rim channels.

A toilet ventilation system may include a tank configured to fill with water to a threshold level. The system may also include a ventilation manifold having a manifold body, a first cavity defined in the manifold body that opens to an exterior of the manifold body through a first opening, a second cavity defined in the manifold body, where the second cavity is fluidly connected to the first cavity, where the second cavity opens to an exterior of the manifold body through a second opening, and where the second opening is blocked by the water when the tank is filled to the threshold level, and a third cavity defined in the manifold body, where the third cavity is fluidly connected to the second cavity, and where the third cavity opens to an exterior of the manifold body through a third opening.

AIR ODOR REMOVAL SYSTEM WITH SEWAGE PLUMBING ATTACHMENT
20220081888 · 2022-03-17 ·

An air odor removal system with sewage or septic plumbing attachment removes odors from a stand-alone structural housing, such as a litter box or toilet bowl. The air odor removal system includes a first odor conduit assembly that is fluidly coupled, from one end, to the structural housing, and from an opposing end to an air mover device that creates a vacuum in the first odor conduit assembly. A motion sensor detects a motion event at the structural housing, and signals the air mover to power on. A second odor conduit assembly carries the odor from the air mover device to a one-way valve. A sewage plumbing conduit carries the odor from the one-way valve, and fluidly couples to a sink and a sewage storage, where the odor is finally discharged. The sewage plumbing conduit comprises a generally U-shaped pipe that restricts the odor from flowing to the sink.
