A stormwater treatment device may include a chamber having a floor and a wall; an inlet formed in the wall that receives stormwater into an inlet side of the chamber; an outlet formed in the wall that discharges stormwater from an outlet side of the chamber; an enhanced settling device positioned in the outlet side of the chamber; a flow diverter plate in a lower portion of the chamber; and an outlet control diverter positioned proximate to the outlet. Stormwater is received by the inlet in a first flow direction, flows from the inlet side to the lower portion of the chamber in a second flow direction, flows through the enhanced settling device to an upper portion of the chamber in a third flow direction, flows through the outlet control diverter in fourth flow direction, and is discharged by the outlet in a fifth flow direction.
Curb inlet catch basin apparatus and method
A filtration apparatus for installation in a catch basin vault is described. A perforate support plate includes a retractable basket that lies below an opening in the support plate and is positioned below a manhole. Water flowing into the system flows onto the support plate and into the basket, which traps debris. The basket is slidable from an in-use position where the basket is positioned to screen debris flowing into the vault, and a cleanout-position in which the interior of the vault is accessible so that the vault may be cleaned. When the vault needs to be cleaned, the manhole cover is removed to allow workers to have access to the interior of the vault. The workers may clean out the basket, and then slide it out of the way so that they have access to the vault interior.
HYDRODYNAMIC SEPARATOR
A separator unit includes a tank defining an internal volume and having an inlet and an outlet. An insert is provided within the tank, the insert including a down cylinder substantially centrally disposed within the tank and a baffle assembly at an external side of the down cylinder. The baffle assembly defines first and second inlet flumes for flowing incoming water from an external side of the down cylinder to an internal volume within the down cylinder. Inward ends of the first and second inlet flumes are positioned and oriented to create first and second vortex flows that progress downward within the internal volume, wherein a rotational direction of the first vortex flow is opposite a rotational direction of the second vortex flow in top plan view.

The lower sidewall includes a plurality of water inlet holes. The well pit includes an upper part, a lower part, and a partition disposed between the upper part and the lower part. The partition includes a plurality of leaking holes. The upper part of the well pit includes an outer ring belt filled with a rainwater pretreatment filler, a center ring belt filled with soil, and a rainwater collection ring belt disposed between the outer ring belt and the inner ring belt. The lower part includes a water-sand separating folded plate, a water-sand discharging channel, a rainwater collecting tank, and a rainwater storage chamber.
EQUESTRIAN ARENA SURFACE FILTRATION SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
An equestrian arena surface filtration system includes a plurality of wash drains configured to be buried below an arena surface and each wash drain having a coupling. The system also includes a wash pipe coupled to the plurality of wash drains via a respective coupling and a plurality of wash boxes. Each of the wash boxes has a stub pipe passing therethrough and the stub pipe has an upper end and a lower end. The lower end of the stub pipe is configured to be coupled to the respective coupling. In addition, the tops of the plurality of wash boxes are adjusted to be positioned approximately at a same level as a top of the arena surface so that wash water flooding the arena surface is collected by the plurality of wash boxes and flushed out through the wash pipe.

A device for vehicle hindrance and rainwater treatment including a vehicle hindrance body and a well pit. The vehicle hindrance body includes a lower sidewall, the well pit includes a top opening, and the lower sidewall encloses the top opening. The lower sidewall includes a plurality of water inlet holes. The well pit includes an upper part, a lower part, and a partition disposed between the upper part and the lower part. The partition includes a plurality of leaking holes. The upper part of the well pit includes an outer ring belt filled with a rainwater pretreatment filler, a center ring belt filled with soil, and a rainwater collection ring belt disposed between the outer ring belt and the inner ring belt. Hydro-variant baffle cartridge system
Stormwater pollution prevention systems, vaults, boxes, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area. The systems can be part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure, where the system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the systems. The systems can use cartridges, each having either a treatment media or treatment polymer inside, wherein the cartridges can be serviced without requiring anyone to enter into a treatment vault/box.

A liquid quality system for removing particulates from liquid (e.g., storm-water runoff). The system can include tubular portion (e.g., a manhole). The tubular portion has an inlet and an outlet. The system includes liquid quality device. The liquid quality device includes a partitioning portion. The partitioning portion has a first region including a funnel shape with a sump inlet aperture. The partitioning portion also has a second region including a sump outlet aperture and optionally a sump access aperture. A sump region is located between a base portion and the partitioning portion, wherein a flow of the liquid travels from the inlet in the tubular portion, into the funnel, through the sump inlet aperture, into the sump region, through the sump outlet aperture, and out the outlet of the tubular portion. At least one drag-inducing portion is positioned proximate the tubular portion in the sump region and projecting inwardly towards a central axis of the sump region.
