Adjustable floor drain and method of installation
A drain assembly comprises a shroud, a shank, and a frame. The drain assembly may further comprise a shim with an angled top surface. The frame may have an angled bottom surface. A rotational orientation of the angled top surface of the shim relative to the shank and a rotational orientation of the angled bottom surface of the frame relative to the shank may be independently adjustable, thereby allowing for the top surface of the frame to be both angularly and rotationally adjusted relative to a central axis of the drain assembly independent of the positional height of the shank. The drain assembly may further comprise a cover having bendable tabs. The bendable tabs may be disposed around a periphery of the cover and may be configured to contact an angled inner surface of an upper bowl of the shroud, such that the bendable tabs bend around the frame, thereby locking the cover onto the frame.
LIQUID WASTE RECEPTOR
A strainer assembly for use with a floor waste receptor having vertical walls and a floor forming a well into which liquid waste material can be collected and directed toward a well discharge opening and then into a drain pipe, the vertical walls having an outer flange extending outward from the vertical walls at a position below the top surface formed by the vertical walls, and an inner ledge formed below the top surface, and the floor shaped to form a ledge around the drain opening, comprising: a well discharge opening strainer assembly; a basket strainer sized to fit in the well and over the well discharge opening strainer assembly and sit on the floor ledge, the basket strainer provided with openings sized to permit liquid water matter of a second predetermined size to move from the floor receptor well through the basket strainer and into the well discharge opening strainer assembly, and a grate strainer sized to sit on the interior ledge.
Adjustable floor drain
A floor drain assembly for connecting to a drain system of an installation site. The floor drain assembly includes a drain body having drain coupling adapted for connecting to the drain system, a collar mounted to the drain body, and a rough-in adapter having a radially extending flange. The rough-in adapter is axially adjustably mounted to the collar and a strainer frame is axially adjustably mounted to the rough-in adapter. Mounted to the frame is a strainer. A cover encloses the strainer and strainer frame and includes a central region and a downwardly extending perimetric wall that is removably mounted, at a lower end thereof to, the flange of the rough-in adapter.
Drain System for Use with a Tile Floor
A drain system includes a support frame installable in a tile floor that has a base portion and a wall portion that forms a seat for a drain cover within the support frame. The wall portion defines a cover-facing surface arranged to interface with the drain cover, and a tile-facing surface arranged to face one or more tiles surrounding the support frame. One or more material locking features are on the tile facing surface to help retain grout between the support frame and the surrounding tiles. During installation of the support frame in the tile floor, the vertical position of the support frame over the drain opening is adjustable and the support frame does not extend downwardly into the drain opening such that the support frame is floatable over the drain opening for lateral and rotational adjustment of the support frame relative to the drain opening.
DRAIN AND DRAIN LEVELING MECHANISM
An adjustable floor drain apparatus includes a housing configured for positioning adjacent a drain pipe, manhole riser, or other feature, a leveling frame configured to be positioned at least partially above the housing, a grate configured to be positioned at least partially above the leveling frame and secured to the leveling frame, and a leveling member. The leveling member can be configured such that actuating the leveling member adjusts the position of the grate relative to the housing while the leveling member remains fixed relative to the housing. The leveling member can be configured such that actuating the leveling member moves the leveling member relative to the grate and adjusts the position of the grate relative to the housing.
Floor drain grate assembly
A drain grate assembly includes a webbing and a reinforcement structure. The webbing includes webbing sections defining openings. A load rating of the drain grate is based on respective areas of the webbing sections and the openings. The reinforcement structure is secured to an underside of the webbing.
RETROFIT DRAIN APPARATUS AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A removable drain includes a grill grate including at least one aperture and at least one grill grate first fastener opening configured to receive a first fastener, and a support flange configured to support the grill grate and configured to be coupled to an existing drain, the support flange having a central opening and including a recessed flange extending into the opening from an interior wall for the support flange and on which the grill grate can be accommodated, at least one first support flange fastener opening configured to receive the first fastener, and at least one second support flange fastener opening configured to receive a second fastener, wherein the grill grate is configured to be detachably coupled to the support flange by the first fastener and wherein the support flange is configured to be detachably coupled to an existing drain structure by the second fastener.
Internal trap drain with adjustable height strainer and high mass seal
An internal trap drain with large volume/high mass water seal for improved absorption of pressure fluctuations and extended duration of seal against evaporation in low-use conditions. Includes adjustable height strainer and water seal-protected weep holes.
Linear drain assembly
A linear drain system that is configurable and adaptable on-site. The system includes an outlet section that is coupleable to a drain line of an existing plumbing system. The outlet section includes a pair of engagement flanges to which elongate channels are coupleable. The channels are easily cut to desired lengths on-site using hand tools or common power tools. Endcaps are coupled to terminal ends of the channels to form a trough. A strainer or a tile-ready strainer is provided for insertion into the trough. The strainer/tile-ready strainer are easily cut to length on-site as needed. A construction cover is provided that is disposable into the trough alone or overlying the strainer/tile-ready strainer to resist entrance of debris into the trough. The outlet section and channels include a longitudinal V-shaped canal.
Drain system for use with a tile floor
A drain system includes a drain cover positionable over a drain opening in a floor. The drain cover has a sidewall extending about a periphery of the drain cover and a release surface on the sidewall tapering or sloping inwardly toward a bottom of the drain cover. The release surface is arranged to interface with a support frame configured to support and position the drain cover over the drain opening and reduce frictional and shear forces between the drain cover and the support frame during removal of the drain cover from the support frame.
