PANELIZED STRUCTURAL SYSTEM FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Structural truss panels include first, second, third, and fourth horizontal elongated members and first and second vertical elongated members fastened to the first, second, third, and fourth horizontal elongated members. The first and fourth horizontal elongated members form respectively a top and a bottom of the structural truss panel. The first and second vertical elongated members forming respective sides of the structural truss panel. The structural truss panel further includes and an angled webbing fastened between the first and second vertical elongated members and the first and second horizontal elongated members thereby creating an integrated web truss within the structural truss panel. The structural truss panel includes first, second, and third brace members forming a V-braced truss panel.
Design and Methods for a Modular Construction Kit
A method for using modular items arranged as a system to connect easily available mostly inexpensive, bulky materials sourced elsewhere for the purpose of constructing objects of a person's own or another's design. The modular items work as an interlocking system that allows a wide range of options for securely connecting hoses, timber, pipes, plastic, metal and plywood sheets together as well as allowing various degrees of freedom of movement where required. Among other methods, connectors comprised of specialized sections that connect with each other as well as various base sections via inserts, lugs or other means are used to quickly assemble a designed item.
Screen support assembly with wide lateral support efficiency
A support assembly for providing a high degree of lateral strength and integrity is presented herein. The support assembly includes a beam support bracket having at least one laterally disposed elongated portion that is slidingly engaged with a corresponding lateral beam. The elongated portion of the beam support bracket is defined by spaced apart first and second support plates each including oppositely disposed edges which will mate with corresponding ledges, protrusion or reinforced corners within the lateral beam.
Shelter and hub system
A shelter system is shown and described. A hub for a shelter system is shown and described. A frame for a shelter system is shown and described. In one embodiment, the shelter system includes a frame, a cover and a hub. The frame may be collapsible. The cover is configured to fit with the frame. The hub may include a receiver slot, a receiver sleeve and an attachment projection. The result is a shelter system with reduced set up time, effort and requirements and improved strength and ease of use. The inventions may also be considered a shelter kit and/or a shelter and hub method.
CONNECTOR FOR A MODULAR BUILDING
A connector assembly, having an upper connector, a pin coupling the upper connector to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. Also, disclosed is a hoistable connector assembly, a lifting frame assembly, a coupling system for modular frame units, a method for assembling a module unit using the connector assembly, and a modular frame unit and building having the connector assembly.
Multi-orientable strut channel support system
A strut channel support system including a first brace, a second brace, and a fastening mechanism connects at least two channel struts in a multi-orientable fashion. The first brace and the second brace both possess a U-shaped channel, a base, a fastener-engagement point, and a strut-engagement point. The base is terminally connected to the U-shaped channel, the fastener-engagement point is centrally integrated into the base, and the strut-attachment feature is integrated into the U-shaped channel. This permits the base to retain the rear portion of a strut channel. The U-shaped channel perimetrically braces the lateral sides of the strut channel. The first brace and the second brace attach to each other via the fastener-engagement point. The fastener-engagement point of the first brace and the fastener-engagement point of the second brace are mechanically coupled to each other. This enables a user to adjust the orientation between at least two strut channels.
Geodesic Framework Hub with Strut Holding Mechanism Movable Between Full-Hold and Partial-Hold Positions
A hub for interconnecting a plurality struts at a node of geodesic framework features a receiver and a holding mechanism. The receiver has a plurality of receptacles to each receive an end of a respective strut. The holding mechanism is movable between a full-hold position and different partial-hold positions. The full-hold position at least partially obstructs each of the receptacles to block withdrawal of any strut ends already received in the receptacles. Each partial-hold position reveals one of the receptacles to enable insertion or withdrawal of a strut end, while continuing to obstruct all of the other receptacles to prevent inadvertent separation of any previously installed strut. Struts are inserted one-by-one as the holding mechanism is indexed from one partial-hold position to the next, without worry of any preceding strut separating from the hub. A kit with a spacer enables fastening of two hubs together in a multi-layer geodesic framework.
Mechanical fastening system and associated structural assembly and method
A structural assembly including a first structural member defining a first partial bore and including a first protrusion extending from a periphery of the first partial bore on a first side and a second protrusion extending from the periphery of the first partial bore on a second side, a second structural member defining a second partial bore and including a first protrusion extending from a periphery of the second partial bore on a first side and a second protrusion extending from the periphery of the second partial bore on a second side, wherein the second partial bore is aligned with the first partial bore to define a through-bore, a first engagement member engaged with the first protrusions and a second engagement member engaged with the second protrusions, wherein the first and second structural members are clamped between the first and second engagement members.
DECK BRACKET
A deck board support bracket includes a drainage channel in a top surface of the bracket and deck boards are secured in an end to end manner with a space between two deck board ends centered over the drainage channel. Water presented on the deck surface at two deck board ends passes therebetween and to one side of a supporting joist. The deck board support bracket can be used with various deck board fastening arrangements and preferably is made of an injection molded plastic material.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS RELATED TO MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
Systems and apparatuses related to modular construction of various structures are provided herein. The systems and apparatuses described can include a plurality of frame members, insert tube members, and fastening plates to join a plurality of modular structures.
