Shelter and hub system
A shelter system is shown and described. A hub for a shelter system is shown and described. A frame for a shelter system is shown and described. In one embodiment, the shelter system includes a frame, a cover and a hub. The frame may be collapsible. The cover is configured to fit with the frame. The hub may include a receiver slot, a receiver sleeve and an attachment projection. The result is a shelter system with reduced set up time, effort and requirements and improved strength and ease of use. The inventions may also be considered a shelter kit and/or a shelter and hub method.
Assembly for lifting or supporting a load, and members and connectors for use in same
Provided herein is an assembly for carrying or supporting a load. The assembly comprises a plurality of members connectable in an assembled arrangement for carrying or supporting the load. Each member comprises a first end and a second end, at least one of the first end and the second end has a pair of connecting members comprising two lugs that each has defined therein two holes. The lugs are configured for alignment with a corresponding pair of lugs formed on another member in the assembly. Fasteners extend through the holes formed in the lugs when the holes are aligned. Further provided are members for use in the assembly and connector elements for attaching two or more members in the assembly.
Framework Module for use in Modular Building Construction
A framework module for use in modular building construction comprises a plurality of elongate upright and cross beams, rigidly connected at or towards their ends to form a box frame with open side and end faces, and; at least one connection point on each of the upright beams which is configured to allow mutual connection with an equivalent connection point located on a substantially identical adjacent framework module, so that a plurality of framework modules can be connected together to form an open-web truss of vertically and horizontally aligned members.
Modular building structure
A modular building structure, obtained by assembling a plurality of module frames to obtain a complex frame is provided. The structure includes walls and floors implemented by cladding panels, and the module frames have a substantially parallelepiped shape. The structure includes connecting knots joining module frames adjacent on a same plane, on the lower side or upper side, at angles, or which provides for the connection of the module frames to a basement or to a roof structure. Each knot has a box-like structure with an inner core shaped like a hollow straight parallelepiped, formed by six walls facing two by two, each wall has an opening that form respective channels opened according to orthogonal axes. At each opening, the knot includes a corresponding supporting plate, parallel or orthogonal therebetween; each supporting plate, extending beyond the plane defined by one or more adjacent supporting plates, defines a respective rest.
Building assembly structure
A building assembly structure comprises a coupling block fixed on the ground or to a frame so as to fix and extend the frame. The coupling block comprises a body has a first through-hole passing through upper and lower portions thereof, a connection member coupled to a lower portion of the first through-hole, and having a second through-hole formed therein, a fixing plate coupled to the connection member so as to be located on the lower portion of the body, and having a fixing protrusion protruding from a side thereof, and a vibration-proof pad coupled to the upper portion of the body in order to absorb load and shocks applied from above.
Structural modular building connector
A connector assembly, having an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. Also, disclosed is a hoistable connector assembly, a lifting frame assembly, a coupling system for modular frame units, a method for assembling a module unit using the connector assembly, and a modular frame unit and building having the connector assembly.
BAMBOO CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A method includes forming a cutout in a bamboo pole, the cutout having a non-uniform perimeter, and in which the perimeter increases towards a region of the bamboo pole where fibers of the pole are stronger than other regions of the bamboo pole.
Mobile solar array and truss
A hybrid truss assembly with a truss bay centrally deployed, and with half-bays deployed on either side. The configuration provides four panels (such as solar panels), with two chords connected by four transverse members. The half-bays are locked in a rigid position using a barrel lock hinge assembly. The half-bays fold compactly beside the folded center bay assembly when retracted. The truss assembly may be pivotally mounted on a mobile cart, and may then be manually or automatically tilted or rotated to a desired angle.
ARCHITECTURAL STRUCTURES HAVING AN EXPANDABLE FRAME
An architectural structure for constructing a variety of goods in a variety of configurations is provided. The architectural structure includes a plurality of paired slat-like members and a spine configured to hold the plurality of paired slat-like members in an expanded state. Each paired slat-like members includes joined upper ends, joined lower ends and an expandable central region joined to an adjacent paired slat-like members.
COUPLING STRUCTURE FOR FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC STRUCTURE MEMBER AND MACHINING METHOD FOR COUPLING PORTION
A machining method and coupling structure for a fiber reinforced plastic structure member (1) obtained by narrowing an end of the member (1). Also included are a reinforcing member (4) which inhibits expansion by adhering to the outer circumference of the narrowed portion of the fiber reinforced plastic structure member, a locking member (2) which is provided with a through-hole (2a) in an axial direction and which fits into a narrowed portion (1a) of the fiber reinforced plastic structure member 1, a coupling anchoring member (3) which is provided with a rotation stop on the side thereof, and a spacer (5) which restricts only a rotation of the coupling anchoring member (3) and which is attached between a member (7) to be coupled and an end of the fiber reinforced plastic structure member (1) by passing the coupling anchoring member (3) through so as to slide in the axial direction.
