MODULAR THERMAL ISOLATION BARRIER FOR DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE

A modular thermal isolation barrier for use in sealing gaps in a data processing equipment structure includes an extruded edge seal and a panel. The extruded edge seal has a seal portion and a base portion with one or more channels. An edge of the panel is disposed within one of the one or more channels of the base portion of the edge seal such that the edge seal is seated against the edge of the panel with the seal portion in position to abut, and establish a seal with, an adjacent structure.

MODULAR STRUCTURAL BUILDING SYSTEM AND DEVICE
20240426095 · 2024-12-26 ·

A modular building system includes a joint for interconnecting a network of struts in a tetrahedral arrangement for forming a structural component supporting a floor, ceiling or post. The interconnected struts have a uniform length and join together with other struts at a predetermined angle defined by the joint. Once connected, the struts and joints form a tensioned network of a load bearing surface or post, where the members are in a tensioned arrangement at an equilibrium. External forces, such as moving loads, winds, and rain tend to spread the loads across the network of tensioned members, temporarily resulting in compression along some of the rigid struts. Panels join the strut network or lattice by load caps secured to the joints for receiving triangular panels matching the joint spacing.

Modular auto-cleaning hopper assembly

A modular hopper assembly is provided and includes a plurality of pre-fabricated upper hopper modular units, a plurality of pre-fabricated middle hopper modular units, a plurality of pre-fabricated lower hopper modular units and a plurality of support members configured as a base, where the upper hopper modular units, the middle hopper modular units and the lower hopper modular units are each assembled, and then the assembled upper hopper modular units, the assembled middle hopper modular units and the assembled lower hopper modular units are connected together to form a hopper, where the hopper is mounted on the base.

MODULAR THERMAL ISOLATION BARRIER FOR DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE

An edge seal for a modular thermal isolation barrier includes a seal portion and a base portion. The seal portion is formed of a resilient material capable of deflection by a rigid adjacent structure. The base portion is formed of a rigid material and includes a pair of side channels opening at opposite sides thereof and a panel-receiving end channel. Each of the pair of side channels includes a first distal flange arranged to extend inwardly from one side of the respective channel and a second distal flange arranged to extend inwardly, and toward the first distal flange, from the other side of the respective channel, whereby each side channel is generally C-shaped and includes a channel opening having a width that is narrower than a width of a channel interior. Each of the seal portion and the base portion has a generally uniform cross-sectional shape.

CONVERTIBLE ENCLOSURE

A movable enclosure is configured to selectively enclose an area. The enclosure includes at least one side wall and an end wall attached thereto. The side wall comprises a number of individual panels that are independently movable along a track secured to the ground. The panels are selectively collapsible such that they may travel along the track and overlap one another when in a collapsed or stowed position. The enclosure may be configured in any number of intermediate positions wherein the panels are partially collapsed. Roof panels may be attached to the side walls for movement therewith, or alternatively, the roof panels may operate independent of the side walls to extend and retract between an open and collapsed configuration.

Fastening means, a preferred embodiment of which is shown in FIG. 2, has a joist 1 and a locking member 5. The joist 1 has a channel and locking extensions and the locking member 5 has a base 6 and an upstand 7. The base 6 has rounded corners 10. The fastening means is formed such that when it is in use the locking member 5 can be slid into the channel and rotated therein to assume a locking position, such rotation made possible by the rounded corners 10 which, when in use, serve to prevent a rotational impasse between the joist 1 and the locking member 5. The fastening means is formed such that when the locking member is in the locking position it is in a tight fit within the channel and cannot pull out of the channel by reason of obstruction by the locking extensions.
