DEVICE FOR SECURING CONSTRUCTION MODULES
The invention provides a system for fixing construction modules based on two fixing devices for assembling three-dimensional construction modules during building construction and complex construction elements for any use, in which first, essentially flat fixing devices comprise two pairs of rigid rods arranged vertically in each pair, one on top of the other, in a U-shape, both pairs of rods being arranged in a concentric manner, thereby defining a U-shaped hole in which bosses are placed, and second fixing devices comprising three pairs of rigid rods arranged vertically in each pair, one vertically on top of the other, with one pair defining an essentially right-angle and the other two pairs of rods being arranged symmetrically with respect to their bisector, thereby defining a hole in the form of an arrowhead in which bosses are housed.
Seismic performance improvement of FRP-RC structures
Although Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRPs), as alternatives for the corrosive steel reinforcement in concrete structures, have shown promising performance under gravity loads, their performance under reversal cyclic loading is still one of the main concerns. The linear behavior of FRP reinforcement has a two-sided effect on the seismic performance of FRP-reinforced concrete (RC) moment-resisting frames. Although the linear nature of FRP reinforcement could be advantageous in terms of limiting the residual damage after an earthquake event, it lowers the energy dissipation of the structure which can compromise its seismic performance. Disclosed herein is the addition of steel plates at selected locations in moment-resisting frames to improve seismic performance of FRP-RC structures while still being able to take advantage of its linear behaviour (minimal residual damage after earthquake). The effectiveness of the proposed solution was tested both experimentally and analytically.

SELF-SUPPORTED PC COLUMN JOINT PART
A self-supported PC column joint part. A plurality of accommodation pieces is buried in the upper surface of a lower member to which a PC column is to be joined, has accommodation spaces having open upper parts, and has female threads. A support bar is provided in a pocket formed in the lower end of the PC column, and includes a body coupled to the upper surface of the pocket to protrude and a head at the lower end of the body so as to be accommodated inside the accommodation space. A fixing piece has a through-hole formed in the center thereof such that the body of the support bar passes therethrough, and has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be screw-coupled to the accommodation piece, thereby fixing the head of the support bar.

Building construction system with split precast horizontal floor supports
The disclosed building construction system with split precast horizontal floor supports combines the strength and ease of construction of pre-cast concrete, with ease of transportation of cast-in-place concrete. The system avoids the requirement of casting difficult shapes by breaking the complex T-shape sections of prior patents into separate flat pieces. The formwork for flat pieces is simpler than that of complex items that include both long and wide components. For examine, T-shapes and cross-shapes are hard to cast and difficult to transport because these shapes do not sit flat, and thus must be supported at their ends. Instead of this complex casting and transport, the slabs are separated into shapes that can later be placed around the columns. This simulates the strength of a fully-precast system, while reducing the precast costs and transportation costs.
