Three-dimensional lightweight steel framing system formed by bi-directional continuous double beams
The present invention discloses a three-dimensional lightweight steel framing system formed by bi-directional continuous double beams. The three-dimensional lightweight steel framing system comprises beams, purlins, columns, wall bodies, floor slabs and lateral resistant mechanism comprises of diagonal support or bracing, wherein the beams are continuous double beams, and the continuous double beams are formed by combination of identical or different continuous single beams, and the continuous single beams are respectively arranged at the both sides of the columns, and the single beams are kept continuous at the junctions with the columns. The three-dimensional lightweight steel framing system simplifies the production of the lightweight steel member, and simplifies the on-site assembly by using bolts and nuts.
Use of an Oversized Threaded Rod in a Locking Oblong Hole
A method for securing a first part to a second part where the first part has a locking oblong hole. The method includes passing a locking threaded rod through the locking oblong hole and into the second part. The locking threaded rod is oversized with respect to a width of the locking oblong hole such that the locking threaded rod widens the locking oblong hole as the locking threaded rod is passing through the locking oblong hole.
Modular integrated building and construction method thereof
Disclosed herewith a modular integrated building and a construction method thereof. The building comprises multiple prefabricated room units (1). A bottom of a load-bearing structure of the prefabricated room unit (1) is provided with a semi-prefabricated connecting port (2). Reinforcing bars arranged at a top of the prefabricated room unit (1) of a next floor are inserted in the connecting port (2) and thus connected with reinforcing bars arranged therein, so that the prefabricated room units (1) of two adjacent floors are connected with each other through in-situ casting concrete in the connecting port (2). A cast-in-situ concrete interlayer (3) is arranged on a top plate (11) of the prefabricated room unit (1) of a next floor, for connecting adjacent prefabricated room units (1) of a same floor together.
Panel
A wall/roof panel includes (a) a façade that has (i) an outer surface that defines a front surface of the panel and (ii) a rear surface and (b) a structural element connected to and supporting the façade.
Methods and apparatus for manufacture of moment connection components
A collar flange assembly welding fixture is disclosed, including a stand, a circular mount structure, and a support assembly which are configured to provide access to a front side and a back side of a collar flange assembly held by the support assembly. The stand has a plurality of circumferential bearings equidistant from an axis of rotation, the circular mount structure is rotatably supported by the circumferential bearings, and the support assembly is configured for mounting on the circular mount structure.
CLAMP ATTACHMENT FOR BOOM OF TELESCOPIC HANDLER AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING AND PLACING DECKING MATERIAL ON A BUILDING USING THE CLAMP ATTACHMENT
A boom clamp attachment has a gib frame, a boom quick-connect, a shaft arm axle, a shaft arm torque assembly, and at least one gib clamp assembly. The gib clamp assembly has a clamp support member having a first gib clamp at a first end and second gib clamp at a second end. The gib clamp has a fixed finger and a moveable finger, the moveable finger controlled via hydraulics. The boom clamp may hoist, tilt, and position an assembled section of panels.
SCALABLE DYNAMIC FRAME SYSTEM
An assembled frame for a structure in the building can be formed from multiple different types of building blocks for a frame. The assembled frame for the structure in the building is formed with the multiple different types of building blocks for the assembled frame in a manufacturing facility, and then shipped as the assembled frame to a construction site. The multiple different types of individual building blocks for the frame can at least include two or more of i) metal beams/strut framework, ii) metal angle frames, iii) metal cross connects, and iv) metal mating blocks.
Slide clip
A slide clip includes a first plate and a second plate coupled at a juncture. The first plate and the second plate form an angle at the juncture. The second plate has a first elongated slot, a second elongated slot, and a third elongated slot, each extending parallel with the juncture. The first elongated slot and the second elongated slot are each offset from the juncture a first distance. The third elongated slot is offset from the juncture a second distance that is greater than the first distance.
Z-SHAPED ATTACHMENT ELEMENT FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A Z-shaped attachment element for use in building construction is disclosed. The Z-shaped attachment element is made from a single piece of sheet metal that is first cut and then bent to form the Z-shaped cross-sectional profile. The Z-shaped attachment element comprises: an elongated upper flange; an elongated lower flange, wherein the upper and lower flanges are spaced apart and substantially parallel to each other; an elongated middle web section between, and connected to, the upper and lower flanges along respective upper and lower lengthwise bends (wherein the middle web section is diagonal in relation to the position of the upper and lower flanges, thereby defining a generally Z-shaped cross-sectional profile); and a plurality of notches formed along the lower lengthwise bend and into the lower flange and the adjoining middle web section, but not into the upper bend or the upper flange, of the Z-shaped sheet metal attachment element.
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR VOLUMETRIC MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
A modular unit connection system for jointing together pre-fabricated rectangular modular building units to form a multistory building. The building units can be completely fitted out and this connection system allows for positive structural connection using liquid grout filled columns, without bolting or welding and without the requirement for access to the connections from inside the pre-finished building module interiors. The four corner columns of the box-shaped modules are steel square hollow sections. This connection system uses a unique connector tube passing from the bottom of the column above, through a horizontal connector plate containing a guidance system and into the top of the hollow column below, and then a system of grouting the inside of the column, from an access position on top the upper most module to form the final positive structural connection.
