11572684 · 2023-02-07 · ·

A rafter bracket configured to connect a vertical post to a rafter and beam(s) is described herein. The rafter bracket may include lower vertical side plates, a horizontal plate, and upper vertical side plates. The horizontal plate may be perpendicular to the upper and lower vertical side plates and may separate the upper vertical side plates from the lower vertical side plates. The horizontal plate and lower vertical side plates may create a lower cavity that receives the vertical post. Meanwhile, the rafter may be positioned on one of the upper vertical side plates and positioned between two of the upper vertical side plates and may be angled at an acute angle relative to the vertical post as well as the upper and lower vertical side plates. One or more of the lower vertical side plates may receive lateral plates that define a lateral cavity receiving the beam.

A system and method for creating a column for construction using bundled tube are provided. The column having a bottom portion, a middle portion, and a top portion. Each portion consists of a bundle of individual pillars, comprising a center pillar, a plurality of corner pillars, and a plurality of middle pillars. From the bottom portion of the column, addition pillars can be affixed on top of the pillars of the bottom portion, thus forming the middle and the top portion of the column. Each pillar can be secured to another component using a thread stepped dowel comprising of a base section, at least one middle section, and a tip section, with each section being progressively smaller in circumference than the last. The at least one middle section of the threaded stepped dowel further comprises thread spiraling around the outer surface of the at least one middle section.

A connecting metal (1) includes a tenon pipe (13) having through-holes (132) for fixing the tenon pipe (13) by drift pins or bolts, and a plate (12) joined at an end of the tenon pipe (13) and having through-holes (122) for fixing the plate (12) by drift pins or bolts, the tenon pipe (13) and the plate (12) being joined with each other in a substantially racket-like shape. A pair of slits (131) for receiving the plate is formed at the end of the tenon pipe (13), each of the slits (131) being defined by a first side edge and a second side edge that are bent inwardly. The plate (12) is inserted in the pair of slits (131) and joined with the tenon pipe (13) by welding, with no protrusion of weld reinforcement out of an outer periphery of the tenon pipe (13).

CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER

A glulam construction method suitable for relatively small-sized wooden buildings is disclosed. Each joint metal has its plate portion and pipe portion joined in a racket-like shape. At an end of a column, a slit is formed to open at a column end surface and to extend in a column width direction. At an abutment part in a beam abutting on the column end surface, mortises penetrating in a beam depth direction are formed at two positions appropriately spaced from each other in a span direction. Each joint metal has its pipe portion fitted in the corresponding mortise and has its plate portion fitted in the slit of the column. The joint metals are fixed in the column and the beam by drift pins or bolts and thereby establish rigid connection therebetween.

Anchor bolt for adhesive anchor, adhesive anchor, and method for constructing adhesive anchor
