Adjustable living space
A living space is disclosed including one or more adjustable or reconfigurable rooms. A room may be made reconfigurable by including fixed walls and a frame that is mounted to move in a first direction between a first position coextensive with the fixed walls and a second position that is extended relative to the fixed walls. The room may further include panels mounted in the frame configured to move in a second direction, orthogonal to the first direction, to seal off a front of the room. In examples, the panels may store against the frame when not in use.
Telescoping container system
A telescoping container system with a first container and a second container that is configured to slide into and out of the second container. The invention includes first, second and third elongated gaskets that are configured to create various seals between the first and second containers and a wiper seal that creates a further seal between the top front rail of the first container and the top panel of the second container. The invention includes two non-pivoting guide wheels situated at the top of the rear end of the second container and two pivoting guide wheel assemblies situated on wings that extend inwardly front the front corner posts of the first container. The pivoting guide wheel assembly allows the invention to seal in each direction by pivoting backward and forward.
Shipping container expansion insert
An expansion insert for converting an ISO shipping container into a housing unit is provided, the insert having a compacted form reversibly convertible to a expanded form. The insert has a frame assembly torsionally hinged to a roof assembly and a floor assembly. Two pivot walls and a sidewall are also built into the insert. The insert may be compacted for shipping, expanded after insertion into an ISO container, and compacted again on the ISO container.

The room may further include panels mounted in the frame configured to move in a second direction, orthogonal to the first direction, to seal off a front of the room. In examples, the panels may store against the frame when not in use.
Lifting mechanism for expandable shelter
An enclosure including an upper frame, a lower frame, and a lift mechanism operably coupling the upper frame and the lower frame together. The lift mechanism includes first drive shafts and a second drive shaft operably coupling the first drive shafts for operation in unison, and an input operably coupled to at least one of the first drive shafts or the second drive shaft. The lift mechanism transitions the enclosure between a stowed state and a deployed state during a movement of the actuator.
Exterior wall for expandable shelter
A wall configured to couple to a shelter and extend around at least a portion of a perimeter of the shelter. The wall includes a first end having a first attachment mechanism configured to engage with a second attachment mechanism of the shelter, a second end opposite the first end, a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end, and a third attachment mechanism coupled proximal to the second end and configured to engage with a fourth attachment mechanism disposed on the shelter to couple the wall to the shelter.
STRUCTURAL MODULES FOR CONCRETE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A containerized, transportable, pre-engineered, pre-fabricated, pre-assembled, adjustable, structural modular building system is disclosed, comprising a plurality of structural modules comprising a plurality of horizontal structural decks and vertical structural frames to be used in building construction. The building system is transportable world-wide using existing standardized ISO shipping methodologies of truck, train and shipping vessel. The structural modules may be expanded and contracted to vary the height, length, and width of the structural module based on building specifications. In such, the structural modules may be used for buildings having various floor dimensions, and may form self-contained structural elements within the building structure. In a single module configuration, the bottom horizontal structural deck is positioned between a first side deck and a second side deck. The first and second side decks are each rotationally engaged to each side of the bottom deck to form a building module. A track system slidingly engages with a plurality of structural frames and includes a locking mechanism to retain the plurality of structural frames in position along a length of the each of the bottom deck, the first side deck and the second side deck. A plurality of corrugations affixed to each of the bottom deck, the first side deck, and the second side deck to form a surface whereon concrete is poured.
Structure and vehicle with a structure
In a structure, for example in the form of a trailer cabin (115), which structure is advantageously provided for connection to a vehicle (103), the following are provided as sliding segments: a number of horizontal sliding segments (201) slidable in an expansion direction, vertical sliding segments (136) slidable in an extension direction at a right angle to the expansion direction, and double sliding segments (139) which are slidable both in the expansion direction and in the extension direction and which are connected to a central fixed segment (403). Thus, when the sliding segments (136, 139, 201) are transferred from a pushed-together compact position into a pulled-out expansion position, an interior space of the structure (115) can be considerably enlarged by a usable space in comparison with a minimum volume in the compact position.
Appliance lockdown for expandable shelter
A system including a frame and a pair wheel of assemblies to engage with one or more tracks of a structure. The pair of wheel assemblies include a first hub assembly, having a first wheel and a first attachment mechanism to engage with the one or more tracks of the structure, and a second hub assembly having a second wheel and a second attachment mechanism to engage with the one or more tracks of the structure. The system further includes an elongated rod coupling the first hub assembly to the second hub assembly, where a movement of the elongated rod causes the first attachment mechanism and the second attachment mechanism to engage with the one or more tracks of the structure.
