A mobile home skirting base comprising: a horizontal surface; and two substantially equal, substantially symmetrical vertical surfaces co-extruded with the horizontal surface forming a channel to insert a mobile home skirting panel wherein the vertical surfaces each having an inwardly oriented retention edge that secure the mobile home skirting panel. The height of the vertical surfaces and the inward orientation of the vertical surfaces' retention edges, along with the other aspects of the invention, allows the mobile home skirting base to provide strong support, stabilization, and protection of the skirting panels.

Skirting panel assemblies for enclosing a space beneath a structure and methods assembling and forming components of the skirting panel assemblies. In some examples, a skirting panel assembly includes a skirting panel, a top trim member, a track base member, and a column member. The track base members can receive and brace a bottom edge portion of the skirting panels. The top trim member can be fitted over or receive a top edge portion of the skirting panels and can be attached to the structure with fasteners. The column members can engage with adjacent skirting panels for enclosing a space between the adjacent skirting panels. In some examples, the components of the skirting assembly can be molded from concrete.

A perimeter barrier for a building structure includes a panel and a j-track coupled to a bottom of the panel. A top track and a z-vent are coupled to the building structure such that the top track and z-vent secure an upper portion of the panel. A top h-track is coupled to the panel and top track, and a bottom h-track is mounted to the panel and the j-track. In addition, a door is installed in the top h-track and the bottom h-track to provide access through the perimeter barrier to a space beneath the building structure. In addition, a kit for such types of components is disclosed.
