BUILDING FOR CAR PARKS
A building for a car park. The building includes: a platform; at least one habitable structure comprising a plurality of walls and a roof located on the platform; and a platform support assembly. The platform support assembly includes a first ground beam arranged to sit on the ground and a first support mounted on the first ground beam, wherein the first support is arranged to at least partly support the platform above a car park surface and to transfer loads from the platform to the first ground beam. A car park including the building and a method for construction the building is also disclosed.
PORTABLE PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURE
A portable protective enclosure for equipment located outside, such as, for example pumps, it preassembled and towable to an in-service position for enclosing the equipment and protecting it from cold weather environments. The enclosure has first and second skids being arranged parallel and spaced to one another defining a space therebetween, the first and second skids having a first end and an opposite second end. The enclosure may further have a building supported on the skids for movement therewith, the building comprising first and second end walls each extending across the skids, first and second side walls one each extending along a length of a respective skid, and a roof spanning the first and second end walls and the first and second side walls, the building being free of a floor.
MODULAR FABRICATION OF STRUCTURES
Insulated panels having suitable surface members separated by an inner layer of insulated foam are used for the walls and as structural members for the floor and roof of a building structure. A rigid frame supports the wall, floor and roof insulated panels. The wall insulated panels are supported on the exterior of the frame by rigid brackets with the insulated panels being suitably flashed or capped.
Building skirting base
A mobile home skirting base comprising: a horizontal surface; and two vertical members co-extruded with the horizontal surface forming a channel to insert a mobile home skirting panel wherein a height of one of the vertical members is greater than a height of another one of the vertical members. One of the vertical members also comprises a hook-shaped retention edge. The mobile home skirting base allows the mobile home skirting base to provide strong support, stabilization, and protection of the skirting panels.
Systems and methods for rotating a modular home on a trailer
A structure includes a first space defined by a plurality of walls and a floor assembly supporting the plurality of walls. The floor assembly includes a frame comprising a plurality of floor joists, at least one upper plate coupled to a top of the frame, and a skid plate coupled to a bottom of the frame, the skid plate comprising a circular opening. The floor assembly further includes a pin socket comprising a cylindrical pipe section positioned around the circular opening, the pin socket configured to receive a rotation pin within the cylindrical pipe section and configured to cause the rotation of the structure about the rotation pin when a lateral force is applied to the structure. The structure is configured to rest on the skid plate during the rotation.
BUILDING STABILIZATION SYSTEM
A stabilization system includes a base assembly configured to be mounted to a ground, the base assembly comprising a rod sleeve and a bracket; an anchor rod defining an upper rod portion and a lower rod end distal to the upper rod portion, the upper rod portion extending through the rod sleeve, the anchor rod extending downward from the base assembly into the ground; a lateral transfer strut configured to be pivotably coupled to a manufactured building at a first transfer strut end and pivotably coupled to the bracket at an opposite second transfer strut end; and a vertical brace configured to be pivotably coupled to the manufactured building at a first vertical brace end and pivotably coupled to the bracket at an opposite second vertical brace end.
BUILDING STABILIZATION SYSTEM
A method of stabilizing a manufactured building above ground includes installing an anchor rod substantially below ground, the anchor rod comprising an anchor helix disposed below ground; compressing a ground anchor assembly against a ground surface of the ground to compress the ground between the ground anchor assembly and the anchor helix; pivotably coupling a lateral transfer strut to the manufactured building at a first transfer strut end and to the ground anchor assembly at an opposite second transfer strut end; and pivotably coupling a vertical brace to the manufactured building at a first vertical brace end and to the ground anchor assembly at an opposite second vertical brace end.
Intermodal Container Building
A kit for constructing a building may include an intermodal container. The intermodal container may include four exterior walls forming a perimeter of the intermodal container, a floor connected to each of the four exterior walls, and a roof connected to each of the four exterior walls. The four exterior walls, the floor, and the roof collectively define an interior volume of the intermodal container. The kit may also include a plurality of structural building components disposed within the interior volume. When the building is constructed with the structural building components, at least one of the four exterior walls of the intermodal container is repurposed as an interior wall of the building.
EXPANDABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE BUILDING UNIT
A collapsible and deployable building unit includes a base frame, a roof frame, and hingedly mounted walls that fold between collapsed and deployed configurations. Right and left side walls include rollers at their top corners that engage tracks in the roof frame, allowing the walls to pivot upward while rolling the roof frame to its deployed height. Front and rear walls are hingedly mounted to lay flat in the collapsed state and pivot upward after side wall deployment. The unit provides simplified assembly and reduced space requirements for transport and storage through an efficient folding mechanism and rolling wheel system. Applications include temporary/permanent housing, offices, laboratories, medical clinics, emergency shelters, and retail spaces.
