A lightweight footing includes a plastic shell that can be partially filled with a structural foam once placed in final position. The plastic shell can also be shaped to accommodate a steel exoskeleton that increases the load-bearing capacity of the footing significantly.

This invention discloses a lower system in which a telescoping tower with a plurality of tower structures is contained within a rigid transportation container in a substantially horizontal position for transportation, may be extended to a height much greater than its contracted length. The tower may be transported horizontal, repositioned to a vertical position and then the individual tower structures extended and secured via spring pins relative to the adjacent tower structure, the erection of the tower sections may be with external equipment such as a boom truck, or utilizing an internal hydraulic cylinder.

A method for forming a building includes obtaining a mould, spraying a first spray material onto the outside of the mould so that it sets generally in the shape of the mould to provide a core. The core has side walls, and end wall integral with the side walls and a roof integral with both the side walls and end wall. A second spray material different to the first spray material is sprayed onto the inner and outer surfaces of the core to give it a rigid skin.

Transportable and rapidly deployable air supported structure systems and related methods are disclosed. The air supported structure systems include at least one transportable container. The systems also include a flexible outer membrane configured to couple to a base in a substantially air-tight manner. The systems further include at least one air handling mechanism contained within the at least one container configured to force air between the outer membrane and the base to form an enclosure therebetween via internal air pressure. The systems are configurable between a packaged state with the outer membrane contained within the at least one container, and a deployed state with the outer membrane being coupled to the base and the at least one air handling mechanism forming the enclosure via the internal air pressure. The at least one container may form a portion of the base and/or provide for ingress and egress with the enclosure.

Transportable and rapidly deployable air supported structure systems and related methods are disclosed. The air supported structure systems include at least one transportable container. A support assembly for supporting a building structure, the building structure having a support frame including at least one support beam, the support assembly comprising: a pile adapted to be buried into a ground surface, the pile having a longitudinal axis; a pile head adapted to be secured to a top end of a pile, the pile head including a mounting member engaging the pile and an extendable member movably mounted to the mounting member, the extendable member being movable relative to the mounting member, along the longitudinal axis, the extendable member including: a support platform adapted to receive the support beam of the mobile home's support frame thereon; and at least one holding member adapted to engage the support beam and prevent movement of the support beam relative to the support platform.

An anchor pier for supporting a manufactured building, in which the anchor pier includes having a shaft with a connector and a helical flight proximate a driving tip, with a brace member attached to the connector and to the manufactured building with a connector, to transfer loading between the manufactured building and the ground. A method of supporting a manufactured building is disclosed.

A method of increasing usable space in a parking lot. A support assembly and an access system are erected. A module is placed on the support assembly in one piece or section-by-section. There is an accessible volume of space below the module that is sufficient to allow an automobile to park in a parking space below the module or to allow an automobile to drive in a drive aisle below the module. The module is removably connected to the support assembly. The module may include a frame and a covering coupled to the frame. The support assembly may include portions positioned between adjacent parking spaces of the parking lot. One portion of the support assembly may be positioned on one side of a drive aisle with another portion of the support assembly positioned on the opposite side of the drive aisle.

A scaffold apparatus may have a saddle with a platform and two spaced apart parallel sides extending above the platform. The apparatus may also have a beam having a beam flange attached to an end portion of the beam. The apparatus may also have an upright connector with a bottom portion, where bottom portion may have an insert, and a plate attached to the bottom portion.

A kit for constructing a building may include an intermodal container. The intermodal container may include four exterior walls forming a perimeter of the intermodal container, a floor connected to each of the four exterior walls, and a roof connected to each of the four exterior walls. The four exterior walls, the floor, and the roof collectively define an interior volume of the intermodal container. The kit may also include a plurality of structural building components disposed within the interior volume. When the building is constructed with the structural building components, at least one of the four exterior walls of the intermodal container is repurposed as an interior wall of the building.
