Facade support system
A facade support system for supporting a veneer on a structure includes a bracket configured to be attached to the structure. The bracket includes a back panel having opposite front and rear faces and a connecting member extending from the back panel in a generally forward direction. The connecting member defines a recess adjacent a front end of the connecting member. The bracket includes a support attachment member at least partially disposed within the recess. The facade support system includes a veneer support constructed to be attached to the bracket by the support attachment member. The veneer support is constructed to be disposed in a mortar bed joint of the veneer.
CONNECTOR FOR A MODULAR BUILDING
A connector assembly, having an upper connector, a pin coupling the upper connector to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. Also, disclosed is a hoistable connector assembly, a lifting frame assembly, a coupling system for modular frame units, a method for assembling a module unit using the connector assembly, and a modular frame unit and building having the connector assembly.
TEMPORARY POOL COVER AND FLOOR SYSTEM
The innovation relates to a pool covering system that is usable as a flooring surface. The pool covering system includes brackets and support beams spanning the pool opening. The beams provide structural support to cross members and flooring placed on top of the beams. The pool covering system does not require significant drainage of the pool and does not damage the pool structure during installation and use.
INSTALLATION FEATURES FOR FENESTRATION UNITS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Features and methods for use in connection with the installation of fenestration units. Embodiments include an installation bracket and method of use, pre-installed flashing tape, and a shim that can be broken to a desired length during shimming procedures.
Adjustable deck tension tie
An adjustable deck tie bracket includes a front plate having an opening. Legs are on opposite sides of the front plate. A deformation zone connects a brace member to the front plate. The deformation zone has less resistance to bending than the brace member to facilitate rotation of the front brace by deformation at the deformation zone. To connect a deck to a house, a connector can be inserted through the front plate and secured to an anchor in the house. The orientation of the brace member is adjusted so it so extends to the bottom of a deck joist, thereby allowing flexibility in the vertical spacing between the connector and the deck joist. The legs are secured to opposite sides of the deck joist and the brace member is secured to the deck joist at a location that is spaced farther from the house than the legs.
MODULAR THERMAL ISOLATION BARRIER FOR DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE
A data processing equipment structure includes a plurality of vertical and horizontal frame components, which, together, define an equipment structure frame, and a plurality of panels disposed relative to the equipment structure frame to define a periphery. At least one of the plurality of vertical and horizontal frame components is an extruded strut having a generally uniform cross-section. The extruded strut includes an outwardly-facing channel extending along each of a pair of opposing sides of the extruded strut, at least one of which includes a set of evenly-spaced ridges, extending along each of two sides of the channel, for accommodating a threaded fastener. The extruded strut further includes one or more ledges, each having a depth sufficient to accommodate a thickness of one of the plurality of panels.
BRACKET ANCHOR FOR FASTENING A FACING IN A SUPPORTING WALL, AND WEB PLATE OF A BRACKET ANCHOR
A bracket anchor for fastening a facing to a supporting wall has a bracket head for fastening the bracket anchor to the supporting wall, a web plate, a support element for supporting the facing, and a pressure element for transmitting pressure from the bracket anchor to the supporting wall. The support element and the pressure element are secured to the web plate. The entire web plate is formed from a single plate of constant wall thickness. The web plate includes a tension strut and a compression strut which are connected to one another only at their ends facing the support element and at most over half of the projecting length of the bracket anchor.
Profile bar, profile assembly and method for producing a profile assembly
A profile bar (10, 10a) formed as an extruded part and consisting of a light metal alloy, in particular an aluminum alloy, with a rectangular in particular square, cross-section, wherein a longitudinal groove pair (20, 20a), comprising two longitudinal grooves arranged parallel to one another and at a distance from one another, is provided in each case on at least one lateral surface, preferably on all four lateral surfaces, and with at least two, preferably four, longitudinal channels which extend parallel to the longitudinal grooves and which form in each case an opening (40) for fastening in each case a pen (34) on each of the two end faces (36) of the profile bar (10, 10a), wherein each longitudinal channel is arranged on an imaginary intersection line of planes extending at a right angle to one another and arranged perpendicularly to in each case a lateral surface, wherein at least one of the planes is a longitudinal center plane of a longitudinal groove of a longitudinal groove pair (20).
Support bracket apparatus
An assembly supports external masonry veneer. A bracket mounts to a load bearing wall support structure. A shelf angle has a horizontal leg that defines a shelf for the veneer, and an upstanding leg supported by mounting brackets that secure the assembly to the wall structure. The horizontal shelf is segmented. The back of the shelf angle flexes between the segments to allow the shelf angle to follow the shape of a curve wall. The shelf angle is secured to the mounting brackets with locking clips. The mounting brackets may be channels. They may have lower abutments. The abutments may extend rearwardly. An insulator may be placed between the back and structure. The mounting bracket may have lightening holes. The lightening holes may be in a framework array including alternating diagonal struts. A low thermal conductivity coating may be applied to the bracket.
Window wall system
A window wall system includes a plurality of window wall modules for forming at least in part a facade of a building. Each window wall module is connected between two consecutive concrete slabs of the building and includes a bottom rail, a top rail, two vertical mullions, and a window panel. The system also includes a plurality of anchoring brackets for connecting the bottom rail of each window wall module to a respective one of the concrete slabs, and a plurality of preformed sealing membranes. Each anchoring bracket is configured to be affixed to a top surface of the respective one of the concrete slabs. Each sealing membrane sealingly engages the bottom rail of a corresponding window wall module. Each sealing membrane is interlocked with a respective one of the anchoring brackets to retain the sealing membrane in place. Each sealing membrane is made of an elastomeric material.
