DECK
A support structure having a horizontal surface such as a deck or stage, the support structure having first and second modules which are interconnected together, the interconnection comprising a connector assembly having a first member with a vertically extending recess formed within a bottom wall thereof, the recess being bounded by first and second interior walls which each have a protrusion extending inwardly within the recess, and a second member comprising a U-shaped element having a base, first and second legs, each of the legs having an interior and an exterior wall with one of the legs having a recess formed in each of the interior and exterior walls such that the first leg sidingly fits within the recess formed within the first member and the second leg extends upwardly adjacent one of the first and second side walls to receive and support an adjacent module.
Locking assembly for securing one or more building elements in a building system
A locking assembly (100) for securing one or more building elements in a building system is disclosed herein. The locking assembly (100) comprises: a first component (110) adapted for engagement to the building system, the first component (110) including a first locking portion (112) defining a first surface profile; a second component (120) including a second locking portion (122) defining a second surface profile corresponding to the first surface profile of the first locking portion (112), the second locking portion (122) being adapted for engagement with the first locking portion (112); and a third component (130) having a first end and a second end, the first end being adapted for engagement with the second locking portion (122) of the second component (120), wherein the third component (130) is resiliently deformable from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration under application of force to the third component (130), wherein in the locked configuration, the second locking portion (122) is engaged to the first locking portion (112) so as to secure the first component (110) to the second component (120), and in the unlocked configuration, the second locking portion (122) is disengaged from the first locking portion (112).
BRACKET FOR SECURING DECKING MEMBER
A bracket for attaching a decking member to a supporting member comprises a main flange, a side flange extending approximately perpendicular to the main flange, at least one through hole defined in the side flange for receiving a fastener to attach the bracket to a side of a decking member and at least one protrusion extending from a lower side of the main flange and serving to contact the supporting member and to space the bracket and decking member above the supporting member. A method of securing a decking member to a supporting member is also described.
SECURING MEMBER FOR EXTERIOR MEMBERS AND EXTERIOR STRUCTURE
A securing member includes a fixing portion having a reference surface and fixing holes, a main bulging portion having a contact surface that comes into contact with first to fourth exterior members, a supporting portion, upper and lower engagement portions attached to the supporting portion, a lower bulging portion, and an erected portion that projects from the lower bulging portion and that is disposed on a center line of the fixing portion between the first and third exterior members. One of the fixing holes that is closest to the center line is displaced from the center line. The fixing holes are arranged asymmetrically about the center line. A first length by which the main bulging portion bulges is greater than a second length by which the lower bulging portion bulges. The length from the reference surface to the front end of the erected portion is greater than the first length.
Smart corner and wall frame system
In one aspect, a smart corner is provided that can be prefabricated. The smart corner comprises a rear side including a first hole, a first side including a second hole, a second side including a third hole, and a top. A wall frame is also provided. The wall frame includes a top plate, a bottom plate, studs, and four smart corners. A framing system is also provided comprising at least two wall frames. The at least two wall frames connect via the smart corners.
MOUNTING CLIP FOR THE FLOATING MOUNTING OF WALL AND CEILING PANELS
A mounting clip (1) for the floating mounting of wall and ceiling panels consisting of composite wood materials, said panels being connected to one another without adhesive by corresponding locking profiles to form a wall or ceiling covering and being fastened to a substructure. The mounting clip has a base board (2), a receiving portion (4) formed in one piece with the base board and intended for engaging in a locking profile of a panel, wherein the receiving portion has a distancing piece (5) arranged as far as possible perpendicularly to the plane of the base board, and a contacting piece (6), which adjoins the distancing piece and is arranged as far as possible parallel to the plane of the base board, and a slot (8) is provided in the base board for fastening the mounting clip to a fastening means on the substructure the slot can be at least 1.5-4 cm long and extend transversely with respect to the contacting piece.
BRACKET AND ADJUSTABLE STRUCTURES FOR LEVELING A BUILDING
A bracket forms one or more U-channel for receiving a beam that supports a portion of a building. An adjustable structure for supporting a beam includes the bracket and a concrete footer or pier having an anchor bolt, wherein the anchor bolt has one end securely embedded within the concrete and threaded end extending upward from the concrete. A leveling nut is threaded onto the anchor bolt below a base plate of the bracket, a top nut is threaded onto the second end of the anchor bolt above the base plate, and a block is disposed between the concrete footer or pier and the base plate to support the weight of the beam.
