CONCRETE DOWEL PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A concrete dowel placement system and methods for making the same. The system allows for accurate and easy substantially-parallel or parallel placement of slip dowels within sections of concrete so that adjacent sections of concrete may be allowed to undergo thermal expansion and contraction while remaining in a common plane without cracking or faulting. The system includes a coupler and a sheath. The sheath is configured to be slidably extensible over the coupler and may be held to the coupler by friction. An outer surface of the sheath may be textured. Additionally, a method of constructing the concrete dowel placement system includes extruding material to form two tubes of different sizes. The tubes are then attached to each other, then material is extruded or injection molded to form a sheath. Alternatively, construction may include extruding material to form a tube, then removing some of the material from the tube in order to form a coupler.
Joist pocket assembly for a refrigerated facility
A joist pocket assembly and a method for manufacturing a joist pocket assembly is described herein. In some embodiments, the joist pocket assembly can include a frame configured to be mounted within a cut-out in a wall. In some embodiments, the joist pocket assembly can include a base of the frame, where the base can be configured to receive a structural member of a joist. In some embodiments, the joist pocket assembly can include a flange extending from a perimeter of the frame, where the flange can cover a gap between the frame and the wall. In some embodiments, the joist pocket assembly can include a first stud coupled to the base of the frame, where the first stud can secure the frame to the wall. In some embodiments, the joist pocket assembly can be placed in a concrete tilt wall or concrete precast wall.
Concrete anchor coupling assembly and anchor rod holder
Concrete coupling assembly comprises a base holder for being attached to a concrete forming surface, the base holder including a central opening; a coupler having one end disposed within the central opening, the coupler having an axis for being positioned substantially transverse to the forming surface, the coupler having first and second threaded bores through the one end for attachment of a threaded rod; and a separate anchor body threadedly attached to another end of the coupler.

Wet Screed Hardware Apparatus
A screed hardware apparatus for adjusting a grade height in screeding concrete. The apparatus includes a cap configured to attach to a base. The cap includes a post mount portion, a grade surface portion that abuts the post mount portion, and one or more flexible antenna that extend from the grade surface portion.
Concrete slab anchor
A concrete anchor has a body with cam surfaces. Each of the cam surfaces curves outward from a first edge to a second edge. The cam surfaces have a circumscribed outer diameter that increases in a downward direction. Jaws are retained around the body, each of the jaws having an inner side in engagement with one of the cam surfaces. Each of the jaws decreases in radial thickness in a downward direction. Cam ratchet teeth on each of the cam surfaces engage jaw ratchet teeth on the inner side of each of the jaws. The jaw ratchet teeth ratchet over the cam ratchet teeth as the body rotates in a first direction to move the jaws from a contracted position to an expanded position. The engagement of the cam and jaw ratchet teeth prevent rotation of the body relative to the jaws in the opposite direction.
FLOOR DOWEL SLEEVE FOR CONCRETE SLAB SEAMS
A floor dowel sleeve is provided that includes a rectangular-shaped body portion having a cavity that is configured to receive a dowel plate that spans across a seam between concrete slabs. A pair of break-away interior walls extend within the cavity from the opening to the end wall of the sleeve. The interior walls extend between two opposing (horizontal) walls of the exterior side walls and are continuously spaced from the other two opposing (vertical) walls of the exterior side walls. The body portion is configured to receive the dowel plate in the cavity between the break-away interior walls, where the break-away interior walls are configured to at least partially break-away from the exterior side walls upon lateral horizontal movement of the dowel plate within the cavity.
Embedded concrete anchor system
An adjustable location anchor with a greatly increased strength having wide versatility regarding the types of straps or attachments which are usable therewith. The invention includes an extended housing having an interior cavity which includes a main slot and which can include a pair of anterior flanges or wings, wherein the extended housing can be placed into the uncured concrete such that it is rigidly embedded therein upon curing. A sliding insert can then be provided within the interior cavity being configured to slide along a slot formed thereby. The extended housing can also have one or more reinforcement attachment means for connecting to existing concrete reinforcement structures.
Building structure
A building structure includes elements that are integrally connected by a poured bonding structure. The elements include a beam having a cavity that is configured to receive a pourable bonding material and flooring sections that are supported by the beams. The flooring sections include voids that open to a cavity. Inserts are positioned in the voids to control the limit the depth that the pourable bonding material can flow into the voids and to increase the strength of the poured bonding structure.
ANCHOR DEVICE
An anchor device for a floor, the anchor device comprising an article securing arrangement to which an article can be secured. The article has a moveable securing mechanism. The article securing arrangement defines a cavity to receive the moveable securing mechanism, and the article securing arrangement includes a co-operating means to co-operate with the moveable securing mechanism in the cavity and secure the article to the anchor device. The anchor device has a height which is no more than 30 mm.
