BOX-SHAPED BUILDING UNIT AND BUILDING
Readily joining CLT panels to obtain a box-shaped building unit.
An orthogonal part of each surface of a rectangular parallelepiped has a structure wherein a surface of edge of lumber 11s of a CLT panel 11 is made abut on an inner main surface 10i of a CLT panel 10 and joined thereto by a joining member 2 so that a surface of edge of lumber 10s of the CLT panel 10 and an outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 are flush. A joining part by the joining member 2 has a structure wherein the surface of edge of lumber 10s and the inner main surface 10i and outer main surface 10o of the CLT panel 10 are opened so that the outer main surface 10o side is wider than the inner main surface 10i side, the surface of edge of lumber 11s and at least the outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 are opened so that the inner side of the CLT panel 11 is wider than the surface of edge of lumber 11s side, and the butterfly joint-shaped joining member 2 is inserted into the opening of the CLT panel 10 and the opening of the CLT panel 11 from the surface of edge of lumber 10s of the CLT panel 10 and the outer main surface 11o of the CLT panel 11 side.
Modular building components, systems, and methods thereof
Disclosed is a modular building system including, in some embodiments, one or more wall panels, one or more floor panels, and one or more roof panels. The modular building components of the modular building system including the one or more wall panels, the one or more floor panels, and the one or more roof panels can faun housing or storage structures with electrical wiring, plumbing, or both wiring and plumbing. The housing or storage structures can be erected by one or more persons without a need for a plumber, an electrician, or power tools. Also disclosed is a method for erecting one or more housing or storage structure in accordance with the modular building system.
MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING PANELS
Panels are shown which are provided with a mechanical locking system allowing perpendicular connection with a snap action. A set of panels including a first and a second panel, an edge of the second panel is insertable into a groove of the first panel, when the panels are arranged essential perpendicular to each other, to obtain a mechanical connection between the first and the second panel, when the second panel is displaced essentially perpendicularly to the first panel.
Monolithic corner
A monolithic corner encapsulates one or more panels while maintaining structural integrity and maintain hygienic properties. The corner may securely receive one or more panels and provide flexibility to easily adjust the one or more panels. The corner may simplify installation and an ability to adjust connected panels without compromising safety, installation time, and sterility.
SMART CORNER AND WALL FRAME SYSTEM
In one aspect, a smart corner is provided that can be prefabricated. The smart corner comprises a rear side including a first hole, a first side including a second hole, a second side including a third hole, and a top. A wall frame is also provided. The wall frame includes a top plate, a bottom plate, studs, and four smart corners. A framing system is also provided comprising at least two wall frames. The at least two wall frames connect via the smart corners.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTERCONNECTING STRUCTURAL PANELS
Building or structural panels may be joined, such as to form walls or floors. The panels may be connected in various orientations via one or more connectors. The connectors may mount to anchors associated with the panels. The panels may have outer skins located over an expanded core comprising a matrix of supporting elongate members and voids or openings, with the anchors located at edges of the panels.
Housing for portable toilet
A housing for a portable sanitary fixture having at least one floor part, at least one roof part, a plurality of side walls, and a plurality of support posts. The floor part is connected to the roof part and/or at least two side walls to each other via at least one support post. The housing has at least three, preferably at least four, and preferably four support posts of which at least one is hollow, and at least one electrically operated functional device or at least one part of at least one electrically operated functional unit is held in an interior of the support post.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A modular construction system, including, first and second walls, each having first and second broad surfaces. Each wall includes throughgoing connector-receiving bores. The modular construction system further includes a connector including a longitudinal body portion arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a first width. A head portion of the longitudinal body portion includes a base surface having a second width in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. A pair of protrusions extend outwardly from the longitudinal body portion and are disposed between the base surface and a tail end of the longitudinal body portion. The protrusions include an engagement surface facing toward the base surface and having a third width, the third width being greater than the first width.
Modular security system for above-ground structures
A system of modular components for on-site assembly of a shelter for an above-ground structure to protect the structure from blast, wind, fire or other physical hazards. A pyramidal shelter with triangular or rectangular base is formed by joining side panels to each other. Each side panel includes a triangular frame covered, except at access hatch, observation port and door openings, with either steel plate or diamond steel mesh to which blast-resistant, fire-resistant or other kinds of coatings or panels are applied. A corner anchor assembly to support each corner of a shelter has a lower plate, an overlying split plate, and a pair of upstanding, anchor rods attached to the split plates for insertion into hollow, lower portions of side beams of adjacent side panels. The corner anchor assemblies facilitate expansion of an assembled shelter by addition of more modular components.
