The scent control device accepts as input, one or more conditional inputs carrying information about the local conditions around the scent control device, such as weather conditions, elevation, barometric pressure, or functional status of the scent control device. Operational programs corresponding to the conditional inputs may be automatically selected based on the combination of conditional inputs to cause the output parameters of the scent control device to match or take into account the local conditions. The scent control device then outputs scent control material such as ozone at a rate effective to control one or more scents to a level that is not perceivable by animals or humans.

The control device controls the air passing through the photoreactor using the controllable valves arranged in the photoreactor line section in such a way that the air passing through is exposed to a predetermined UV-C radiation dose.

The actuator may comprise a mechanism (e.g. slider, cam mechanism); each cartridge may comprise a valve mechanism actuated by the actuator; each mechanism may comprise a spring. The module may comprise a fan to provide airflow. The component may provide a user interface. The component may comprise a console, overhead console, floor console, center console, etc.

The scent delivery system also includes a central controller configured to control the scent delivery units by generating command data based on a scenting schedule that indicates a desired activation time for more than one scent delivery unit. The scenting schedule is configured to further indicate a scent level bias to be applied to base scent settings that are associated with different scent delivery units. The central controller is configured to generate the command data, based upon a variation in the scent level bias, that takes into account a corresponding variation to duty cycles associated with different scent delivery units and to communicate the command data to the different scent delivery units.
