The UV C light modifier may be reflective, such as a reflector, perforated, holographic material, or mechanical modifier such as a barn door. The UV C light modifier might produce a narrow pattern, circular pattern, flat pattern, or asymmetrical pattern or other desired geometric pattern, or upper air pattern. The UV C light modifier is easily removed and interchanged or may be selectable such as by receiving a base UV C fixture including the UV C light source of the present invention and selecting a desired light modifier.

The present disclosure relates generally to air filtration devices. More specifically, but not exclusively, the present disclosure relates to an air filtration device comprised of a copper (or copper alloy) medium to inactivate airborne pathogens (e.g., viruses, bacteria, coronaviruses, COVID-19, etc.) and mitigate harmful exposure to said pathogens. The copper medium is a porous mesh (i.e., copper wool) that is positioned within or on a structure to provide support. The air filtration device may be positioned in an HVAC system such that an air stream flows through the copper medium to inactivate airborne pathogens, such as viruses, in the air stream. The air filtration device may be used in combination with, or in addition to, existing HVAC system conventional air filters (e.g., HEPA filters). The air filtration device includes a copper medium positioned on a face mask to inactivate airborne pathogens during respiratory processes.

A photocatalytic structure that can uniformize ultraviolet lights is provided. The photocatalytic structure includes a housing, a groove formed at a top of the housing, multiple grille slices being engaged with two sides of an inner wall of the groove, multiple grille passages being formed between every two adjacent grille slices, metal meshes disposed on both top and bottom of the grille slices, and a UVC-LED light board disposed at a side of the grille slices. The photocatalytic structure stacks the grille slices to form the grille passages. The UVC-LED light board makes grille passages to reflect the ultraviolet light. More uniform lights are formed at both upper and lower sides of the grille passages. The UVC-LED light board close to the metal meshes ensures the uniform lights to be emitted onto a gap plane with a smaller refraction angle. Therefore, everywhere on the metal meshes are fully illuminated.
