SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MITIGATING AIRBORNE CONTAMINATION IN CONDITIONED INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS
A system and method for mitigating airborne contamination in a conditioned indoor environment utilizes one or more sensing modules configured to detect presence and/or concentration of particles and/or aerosols at different locations. A control module employs an artificial intelligence algorithm to selectively activate at least one mitigation module utilizing machine learning programmed rules and output signals from the sensing module(s). The mitigation module(s) are configured to take one or more actions to reduce presence and/or concentration of particles and/or aerosols in the conditioned indoor environment.
PRESSURIZED FLUID STERILIZING APPARATUS
To provide an ultraviolet sterilizing apparatus that is capable of efficiently performing ultraviolet sterilization on a large volume of gas or pressurized liquid in a short time, can be made compact, and can be stably and safely used for a long time.
A pressurized fluid sterilizing apparatus including a pressure-resistant container or piping that provides pressurizing space, the pressurized fluid sterilizing apparatus sterilizing pressurized fluid such as pressurized gas and pressurized liquid in the container or piping by irradiating the pressurized fluid with ultraviolet rays, the pressurized fluid sterilizing apparatus being characterized in that the pressurized gas or pressurized liquid in the pressurizing space is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by placing an optical member for ultraviolet emission such as a diffusion lens and a light guide plate in the pressurizing space, transmitting ultraviolet rays emitted from an ultraviolet light source such as an ultraviolet light emitting diode by using a light transmission path such as an optical fiber to the optical member for ultraviolet emission, and emitting the ultraviolet rays.
Compact, mobile, modular, integrated diffuser apparatus and method
A new diffuser for essential oils and the like is rendered more compact by integrating the entire diffuser into a form of cap threaded to fit a bottle operating as a reservoir. The motor and pump system are integrated into a package sleeved inside a housing that then receives in a silo beside the pump and motor the entire reservoir and diffuser system. Simplified control algorithms provide a limited set of buttons that are more intuitive by which a user need only define total time of operation, some level of intensity of scent, and an indication of the comparative size of the space to be conditioned by the diffused scent.
SCENT DISPENSING DEVICE
A scent dispensing device comprising a porous material saturated with a scent composition and dried, such that the scent composition dispenses from the porous material when air flow is induced to pass through. The porous material comprises a dispense and a mount surface. The dispense surface is covered by a cover portion minimizing contact with the scent composition. A base portion joins the mount surface. An adhesive portion on the mount surface helps adhere the porous material to an air flow inducing object that induces air flow through the porous material, dispersing the scent composition in the proximity of a path followed by the air flow inducing object. The porosity of the porous material creates turbulence that releases the scent. A panel portion covers the adhesive portion until device is ready for mounting. A tab portion provides a gripping surface for removing the panel portion.
Methods and devices for preventing viral transmission
An apparatus includes multiple first reservoirs and multiple second reservoirs joined with a substrate. Selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs include a reducing agent, and first reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs are proximate to a first substrate surface. Selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs include an oxidizing agent, and second reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs are proximate to the first substrate surface.
LIQUID OR GEL DELIVERY DEVICES
A delivery device is for intermittently delivering materials such as liquids or gels over a sustained period of time to a surface in a controlled way. The surface mountable delivery device is capable of delivering, an antimicrobial agent to protect surfaces from microbial contamination and/or to disinfect surfaces, e.g. door handles, push plates, hand rails, etc. as an aid in preventing and/or hindering the spread of infectious agents. The device uses a vertically lapped nonwoven material as the storage medium for the liquid or gel like materials within the device. A non-wicking liquid mediating layer to controls transfer of liquid from a reservoir to a contact surface of the device to minimize liquid losses. An elastomeric contact liquid delivery layer is optimized for printability. Use of physical features at the device contact surface prevents pore occlusion on user contact and aids flow of liquid to the contact user.
SEALING ARRANGEMENT OF A FRAGRANCE CONTAINER AND FRAGRANCE CONTAINER
The invention relates to a sealing arrangement of a fragrance container, wherein the fragrance container has a container body and a container lid, wherein the container lid can be placed on the container body in a sealable manner, wherein the container lid has an opening in which a displaceably guided sealing lid is accommodated, wherein the container lid has at least one projecting, rigid lip running around the opening, which lip projects towards the sealing lid, wherein a flat seal is arranged on the sealing lid against which seal the at least one lip rests in the closed state of the opening. The invention also relates to a fragrance container.
WINE CORK POTPOURRI DISPLAY
A cork potpourri display of randomly oriented scented corks, within a transparent packaging having a vent to allow the scent to escape the packaging. The corks contain markings from their source, presenting an attractive display while also serving to provide a pleasant smell.
Fragrancing and/or deodorizing a cleaning appliance
A method for fragrancing and/or deodorizing a cleaning appliance is disclosed. The method involves capturing first information or obtaining captured first information indicative of an odor load in the interior of the cleaning appliance, producing fragrancing and/or deodorizing information based at least in part on the captured or obtained first information or outputting the captured first information in order to produce fragrancing and/or deodorizing information of this type, and initiating fragrancing and/or deodorization by employing at least one actuator for releasing a fragrancing and/or deodorizing agent based on the fragrancing and/or deodorizing information produced. A corresponding dosing device, a device for carrying out and/or controlling the method, and a system with one or more devices for carrying out and/or controlling the method are also disclosed.
VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER WITH GUIDING MECHANISM
There is a volatile composition dispenser comprising a housing having a rear fram, a rupturable cartridge disposed within the housing and a button for rupturing the cartridge. The volatile composition dispenser further comprises a guiding mechanism for guiding movement of the button from a first position to a second position when the button is pressed.
