LIGHTWEIGHT BLOCKS WITH STONE-LIKE APPEARANCE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20240167270 · 2024-05-23 ·

The present disclosure describes modular blocks configured to give the appearance of natural or cut stone. An aesthetic coating composition may be applied to one or more surfaces of a block having a low-density, such as an insulating concrete form (ICF), to form an modular block having the appearance of cut stone. The aesthetic coating composition includes a binder component, such as a cementitious binder made from white Portland cement, or a polymer binder such as an acrylic binder, an aggregate component, such as a limestone aggregate component, and optionally an adhesive component. The aggregate component includes a fine sand portion and a coarse sand portion that effectively enable the appearance of cut stone after finishing of the aesthetic coating surface via sanding, polishing, sandblasting, acid etching, acid finishing, or exposed aggregate finishing.

A composite structural board has a wood board core; an internal mesh layer encasing the wood board core; and an external resilient cement coating. A driveway system has a cement base layer embedded with a plasticizing layer that comprises polymeric material; a stone panel layer, comprising a plurality of stone panels laid side-by-side; and an external overlayer.

WALL ASSEMBLY FOR BUILDING STRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
20240240454 · 2024-07-18 ·

A wall assembly including: a plurality of stud assemblies, each of the stud assemblies including a plurality of metal studs, the stud assemblies being spaced apart from each other and forming a window opening therebetween; a sill wedge connected between the stud assemblies and forming a lower edge of the window opening; and a board layer extending around a periphery of the window opening and being attached to the stud assemblies.

REMEDIATED WATER-DAMAGE TO A STRUCTURE
20190024398 · 2019-01-24 ·

A method of remediating a water-damaged masonry structure without removing any masonry from the building, and simultaneously providing water proofing to the structure. The method involves installing a parging coat of a reliner to the pest control wire over cleaned weep holes in masonry and to a water damaged interior portions of an installed masonry exterior wall. The reliner is cured. The method involves caulking a sill plate with gasket to a foundation of the water damaged masonry structure with a silicon sealant after installing the reliner. Next each wag panel is connected to the water damaged studs forming a continuous seamless structure in the remediated structure that prevents water incursion into the structure after remediation of at least 95% and without removing the masonry.

Antimicrobial coating for building panel

In general, the present invention is directed to a building panel, such as a gypsum board, comprising a core having a first side and a second side opposing the first side and at least one facing material having a coating comprising at least one fungicide, at least one polymeric binder, and at least one pigment. The panel satisfies at least one of the following: the board exhibits a rating of 2 or less when tested in accordance to ASTM G21-15 or the board exhibits a rating of at least 8 when tested in accordance to ASTM D3273-16. The panel may also exhibit at least a Level 3 finish.

Coated metal plate and exterior building material

This coated metal plate is a chromate-free coated metal plate for exterior applications, which comprises a metal plate and a coating film that is arranged on the metal plate. The coating film contains 0.01-15% by volume of porous particles as a gloss control agent. If R (?m) is the number average particle diameter of the gloss control agent, T (?m) is the film thickness of the coating film, and ? is the standard deviation of the number-based particle size distribution of the gloss control agent, the coated metal plate satisfies the following formulae. (R+2?)/T?0.7 R?2.0 9?T?19.

Wall panel system

A wall system comprising a frame and one or more panels removably attached to the frame, wherein the one or more panels are positioned over one or more cutouts of the frame to form a substantially coplanar surface.
