Modular building blocks and building system
10501932 · 2019-12-10 ·

Devices, structures, and methods for designing, constructing, and fitting modular structural building blocks together into a unified structure. Modular blocks are rapidly fit together into finished assemblies. Finished assemblies include reinforcing elements aligned in a structurally sound pattern. The unified structure includes walls, provisions for corners, and provisions for door/window spaces. The unified structure optionally includes raised floors or lowered ceilings, offset from ordinary associated height, using blocks disposed side-by-side with intermediate supports. The unified structure optionally includes one or more curved structures, such as vaulted ceilings, rounded walls or silos, tunnels, or otherwise.

Structural block assembly

A structural block assembly for providing insulation to a structure comprising a structural block and an insulation insert. The structural block includes a body having oppositely situated forward and rearward members, oppositely situated proximal and distal members, and a chamber formed between the forward and rearward members and the proximal and distal members. A web, which is positioned within the chamber, centrally extends from the rearward member towards the forward member, wherein a gap is formed between the web and the forward member. The insulation insert is disposed between the web and the forward member, thereby dividing the chamber into a proximal-oriented compartment and a distal-oriented compartment. The web also has a slot formed therethough, wherein the slot assists in maximizing an R-value for the completed wall constructed with the block.

Composite Frame Brick Embodiment
20190352902 · 2019-11-21 · ·

The present invention is a frame brick (10) having a brick body (12) made of composite material and which is in hollow box form and which comprises at least one type of fiber and at least one type of resin, and at least one connection extension (15) which is one-piece with said brick body (12) and which provides connection to another structure element with the same characteristics. As an improvement, at least one cutout (201) is provided at least partially in the direction of the height of the brick body (12) on at least one of two wall surfaces (20) extending mutually on a brick length section (19) of the brick body (12).

Interlocking Blocks
20190127976 · 2019-05-02 ·

This disclosure provides interlocking blocks that can be connected on any side to form a structure, wall, foundation, floor, building, flotation device, gardening structure, or toy. The interlocking blocks typically comprise center openings and connecting openings on each side and can be connected with hardware through the connecting openings. The center openings allow for materials such as pipes, wires, conduit, and rebar to pass through interlocked blocks. Connected blocks can also be filled with fortifying material to strengthen the structure. Sides of connected blocks can be covered with faceplates to direct flow of fortifying material and aid in the creation of desired configurations. Also provided are connectors for connecting sides of the interlocking blocks.

Block for use in automated building construction

The present disclosure relates to the building industry and in particular to a block for use in automated building construction. In one aspect, the block comprises a generally cuboid body having a top and a base, a length extending between a pair of opposed ends, and a width extending between a pair of opposed sides; the body including a plurality of hollow cores extending from said top to said base, and arranged in a row between said opposed ends; wherein each core has a rectilinear cross-sectional shape; and wherein the thickness of the block between each pair of adjacent cores is at least double the thickness of the block on all other sides of each core, so that the block is divisible into a plurality of substantially identical block portions, each portion including four walls of substantially uniform wall thickness about its core.

ASSEMBLY-TYPE BUILDING BLOCK PROCESSING DEVICE
20250229455 · 2025-07-17 ·

The application provides a fabricated building block processing device. In order to solve the problem that the single-layer integrated thermal insulation layer is easy to be gnawed and hollowed out by rats, and the clamping block of the clamping scheme is easy to break, the application adopts the filling block channel and the filling plate channel on the limiting shell to form the limiting channel of the multi-area double-layer thermal insulation layer structure, which is aligned with the second block body. After the filling block and the filling plate are sent into the limiting channel, the filling block and the filling plate are directly pushed into the second block body on the assembly line through the upper and lower double-layer first and second conveyor belts, and finally the filling block and the filling plate exposed outside the second block body are cut off to form a complete prefabricated building block.

Pre-insulated block

An insulated block includes two sides and a self-adhering foam core joined to the two sides during the curing of the foam core. The foam core includes protrusions and recessions to facilitate joining of each insulated block with another insulated block. The insulated block is configured to be joined to other insulated blocks to create a structure or foundation which does not require mortar.

TAB TRACK FIRE-RATED WALL ASSEMBLY WITH DYNAMIC MOVEMENT
20180195282 · 2018-07-12 ·

A fire-rated head-of-wall assembly includes a header track having bendable tabs, a pair of which is configured to hold a wall stud in place relative to the header track. An upper wallboard piece abuts against the ceiling and a lower wallboard piece is spaced from the upper wallboard piece to form a gap. A fire-resistant material, such as mineral wool, is positioned within the gap. An outer wallboard piece spans across the gap.

Header track with stud retention feature

A track for a wall construction for use in building construction is disclosed. Embodiments can include a track having a plurality of bendable tabs that can be manipulated to grip or release wall studs to prevent lateral or side to side movement of the studs. Embodiments can include tracks which incorporate various geometries capable of receiving fire-retardant material, including but not limited to intumescent material.

Construction blocks and systems

A semi-interlocking construction block system may include blocks having prism shaped male and female fittings configured for semi-interlocking interaction. When mated the male and female fittings may engage along their respective interfacing upper bases and lower ends of their respective lateral side faces. Gaps may be defined between upper ends of their respective lateral side faces. The fittings may include arcuate edges which may be quarter rounded.
