Disclosed herein is a diffuser air purification unit. The diffuser air purification unit can comprise a diffuser, a filtration chamber, a purification chamber, a blower, a housing, and a control module. The filtration chamber can be configured to receive air through the diffuser from an external setting in which the diffuser air purification unit is installed and to cause a filtration of the air when the air flows through the filtration chamber. The purification chamber can be configured to receive the air from the filtration chamber and to cause a purification of the air when the air flows through the purification chamber. The blower can be configured to intake the air from the external setting through the diffuser, the filtration chamber, and the purification chamber and to expel the air into the external setting. The housing can at least partially enclose the filtration chamber and the purification chamber. The control module can be secured to the housing and be configured to control an operation of the diffuser air purification unit.

Embodiments are directed to a urine collection system for collecting and transporting urine away from the body. The system includes a urine collection device configured to be positioned at least proximate to a urethra of a user. The system includes a first tube in fluid communication with the urine collection device. The system includes a urine collection container configured to receive urine from the urine collection device. The urine collection container includes an exhaust port. The system also includes a second tube in fluid communication with the urine collection container and a pump configured to pull an at least partial vacuum in the urine collection container through the second tube to draw the urine from the urine collection device into the urine collection container. The pump includes an exhaust vent. The system also includes an odor filter located between the exhaust port and the exhaust vent.

A portable airborne pathogen control apparatus and system. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a portable airborne pathogen control apparatus configured to be selectively positioned within an interior room and configured to enable a floor-to-ceiling flow of air within the interior room. The portable airborne pathogen control apparatus may comprise a housing with an air intake disposed at a lower area of a base housing and an air outlet disposed at an upper area of an elongated duct extending from the base housing. A blower fan housed within an interior chamber of the housing may be configured to direct a floor-to-ceiling flow of air through the interior chamber from the air intake to the air outlet. A volume of air directed through the interior chamber of the housing may be disinfected using one or more UV-C emitters and/or cold plasma generator(s) housing in the interior chamber of the housing.

A measuring mechanism (40) for determining a total volume of decontamination liquid dispensed to the atomizers (A, B, C, D) during a decontamination cycle includes a weighing mechanism (41) for determining a decontamination liquid volume in the decontamination liquid storage tank (36).

The air passageway (24) may be shaped such that air flows substantially perpendicularly past the at least one aperture (36) of the receptacle (26) such that a pre-determined amount of the evaporable vapour is entrained into the filtered air released from the air outlet (16).
