Masonry block system
A masonry block having chambers and cavities that form recesses in the block such that, when the blocks are laid on bond, re-bar may be inserted in horizontal and vertical directions for rectangular grid reinforcement, and the wall may be constructed without the use of mortar. The masonry block includes a stretcher block, end block, and a half-block and each block block has recesses for receiving insulation, re-bar, and/or a line pin.

Construction block and wall face structure using same
A construction block and a wall face structure with high durability and versatility are provided. The construction block including: a front face wall and a rear face wall being parallel to each other; a top face wall with a horizontal groove formed for inserting a horizontal reinforcement; side face walls formed with at least one vertical groove for inserting a vertical reinforcement; at least one vertical hole formed between both of the side face walls and closed off by the top face wall and opened at a bottom face; a plurality of protrusions formed on the bottom face in a shape to engage with the horizontal groove; and recessed slits respectively formed in vertical direction on each side face of the front face wall and the rear face wall, is used.
Bricks and a Method for Using Such Bricks to Build Dikes in Water
The present invention discloses a brick, comprising a brick body, which comprises at least one slot position for connecting a column, and a method for using the bricks to build dikes in water, including the following steps: (1) drilling a plurality of pile holes at water bottom; (2) casting concrete into each of the pile holes to form concrete columns; (3) stacking up a number of the bricks along the concrete columns and having them tightly connected to form a wall; (4) filling the clearances between the concrete columns and the bricks with mortar. The bricks and dike building method provided by the present invention are suitable for direct over-water dike building, the construction is fast and the dikes built are firm and stable, have superior waterproof function and can effectively prevent the impact of currents, winds and waves.
COATING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF APPLYING A COATING
A coating composition for forming a barrier membrane (16) on an exterior wall (10) of a building includes a fluid mixture of water, a binder, and at least about 3 wt % of an alcohol. After spreading the mixture on the exterior wall (10), at least the binder forms the barrier membrane (16). A method of applying a membrane (16) composition to an exterior wall (10) of a building includes providing a first mixture including at least about 82 wt % of an alcohol, providing a fluid composition including a binder and water, mixing the first mixture and the fluid composition to form a second mixture having alcohol in an amount of at least about 3 wt %, and spreading the second mixture on the substrate.

Construction blocks and systems
A semi-interlocking construction block system may include blocks having prism shaped male and female fittings configured for semi-interlocking interaction. When mated the male and female fittings may engage along their respective interfacing upper bases and lower ends of their respective lateral side faces. Gaps may be defined between upper ends of their respective lateral side faces. The fittings may include arcuate edges which may be quarter rounded.
