APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IRRADIATING AIR IN AN AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
An apparatus for irradiating air flow in a vehicle includes a filter unit configured to couple to a recirculating-air conduit connected to a manifold of an air circulation system, the filter unit having an inlet end, and a filter disposed in the inlet end of the filter unit, including an outer wall of filter media having a shape that defines an interior volume of the filter. The apparatus further includes an ultraviolet light disposed on an end plate, configured to be mounted with the ultraviolet light positioned in the interior volume of the filter and the end plate against an open end of the filter. The ultraviolet light is configured to emit ultraviolet radiation substantially at between 222 nm and 265 nm for irradiating air flow through the filter into the air circulation system.
VEHICLE CABIN UV LAMP SANITIZER
A sanitizing UV lamp device for disinfecting surfaces in spaces used by people, including a motor vehicle cabin, includes a housing having a cup shaped base, UV lamps powered for a selected period of time by the control circuit, a reflector, and a protective screen surrounding the reflector and the UV lamps to provide 360-degree germicidal irradiation through openings defined by the screen. The UV lamp device also includes various safety features, including occupancy detection to prevent irradiation from the at least one UV lamp upon detection of motion.
VIRUS PROTECTION SHIELD
The inventive concept is a virus protection shield for a user that includes a rechargeable LED ultraviolet light emitter assembly coupled to a protective mask or a frame superposing the user's mouth, the LED ultraviolet light emitter portion disposed on a distal face of the LED ultraviolet light emitter assembly and designed to emit ultraviolet light substantially outward from the user. An actuator assembly is designed to render the LED ultraviolet light emitter portion into an emitting or non-emitting state.
Germicidal panel light
A germicidal panel light includes a housing, a sterilization component, a fan component and a lighting component; the housing provided with a mounting cavity as well as an air inlet and an air outlet connecting to the mounting cavity, inner wall of the mounting cavity forming an air guiding plane corresponding to the air inlet and the air outlet respectively, the appearance of the housing provided with a containing groove whose inner wall is provided as a reflecting surface; the sterilization component is provided in the mounting cavity; the fan component is provided in the mounting cavity and is provided at intervals with the sterilization component; and the lighting component is provided in the containing groove. The germicidal panel light has an air guiding plane in the mounting cavity nearby the air inlet, so air can be guided into the mounting cavity, air flows slowly, and noises are reduced.
CEILING FAN WITH GERMICIDAL CAPABILITIES
A fan for generating germicidal light is disclosed, which may be adapted to mount to a ceiling. The fan includes a hub connected to a plurality of fan blades. A motor is adapted to rotate the hub. A support is adapted to support the hub and motor from the ceiling. A lighting module may include a tray adapted to receive the support, the tray including one or more lights for providing ultraviolet germicidal light. The light may be provided by LEDs on a circuit board adapted for positioning around the support without dismounting the support from the ceiling, such as one comprised of wedge-shaped segments. The modular circuit board may form part of an uplight module supported by a housing for the motor.

Lighting Fixture Having Ultraviolet Disinfection Means
The present invention provides a lighting system for disinfection and decontamination of an air stream that is moved by an air circulation means into the interior of the lighting system through an inlet, filtered by an air filtration means, and irradiated by ultraviolet light emitted by ultraviolet light sources, and lastly exhausted via an outlet, and thereby the lighting system disinfects and decontaminates the air and adjacent surfaces. The ultraviolet light is contained within the system, so that a person adjacent to or present within a predetermined distance is not exposed to unsafe ultraviolet radiation. The light sources can be UV, UVC, Near UVA and Visible Light LEDs with a long-lasting rated life. The lighting system may be operated by a smart light switch, wireless communication of a mobile device, a smart home control appliance, and/or built-in motion sensors and software.

The diffusing device can include a cover or retaining ring that magnetically attaches to the diffusing device to hold the cartridge in place. The scent cartridge can include a top plate suspended above the cartridge such that a scent depository of the cartridge is hidden or obscured while the top plate can include artwork or a kinetic arrangement that has a change in visual appearance due to an airflow against or through the top plate.

A device to provide sterilized and purified breathable air and to disinfect exhaled air and includes a housing having a first and second opening. The housing includes at least one partition having a plurality of holes, and within the housing such that a plurality of compartments is formed between the first opening and the second opening, and at least one ultraviolet (UV) light source positioned in each of the plurality of compartments. The UV light source is UVC LED lights to emit UVC light of a predefined wavelength within the plurality of compartments to sterilize and purify the air while flowing through the housing. The device includes a mask fluidically coupled to the second opening of the housing using a flexible second pipe to provide the purified air. The device includes one-way valves at the second opening of the housing, and two one-way valves at the outlets of the mask.
