Insulated concrete composite wall system
A new prefabricated wall panel is the basic unit of a new, more efficient and stronger wall system. The wall panel is manufactured from a plurality of foam sections sized to leave vertical and horizontal voids into which concrete is later poured, each foam section having an inner and outer surface and two sides; and a plurality of fastening strips. The fastening strips are longitudinal metal strips being situated between the sides of two foam sections. Each fastening strip has two longitudinal fastening strips projecting perpendicularly to the longitudinal fastening strip and the fastening strips being adjacent to the outer surface of the two foam sections. The fastening strip also has a plurality of clearance holes in the longitudinal fastening strip, a plurality of embed tabs projecting from the edge opposite the fastening strips, each embed tab having at least one hole, and between each pair of embed tabs, a foam tab to hold the two inner sides of the foam sections in place and partially separate the foam sections from the concrete to be poured into a form.
Building or construction and method for production thereof
The invention relates to a method for producing a building as a timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam construction, having a supporting framework consisting of pillars and/or struts, comprising the following steps: a) in the regions of subsequent pillars and/or struts of the timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam construction plate-shaped wall building elements are provided with screws in such a way that the tips thereof protrude into the subsequent pillars and/or struts; b) behind the plate-shaped wall building elements shutterings for the supporting framework consisting of pillars and/or struts are produced from strips and/or insulating material; c) the shuttered regions for the framework are filled with a load-bearing, curable compound, in particular with concrete, wherein the hardening compound flows around the screws used in step a); d) after step a), at the latest after the curing of the compound, the plate-shaped wall elements are set up, fixed, and aligned; e) installation elements for electrical power, water, heating, etc. are mounted on the outer face of the plate-shaped wall building elements; f) plate-shaped wall building elements are fixed to the outer faces of the pillars and/or struts of the supporting timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam structure; g) the remaining spaces between the plate-shaped wall building elements, the elements of the supporting framework, and/or the installation elements for electrical power, water, heating, etc. are filled with a bulk material or an insulating material.
Building or construction and method for production thereof

Modular building system with adhesive-joined spline connections between wall sections
A modular building system is provided which includes modular wall sections. Each wall section has a concrete support column reinforced within by metal rods and at least two wall panels which are formed of concrete. Spline panels are attached to the wall panels at one or both ends of each wall section to connect the wall section to an adjacent wall section. The spline panels are formed of concrete and have a width less than half a width of any of the wall panels. The spline panels are positioned so that a portion thereof extends further in a longitudinal direction of the wall section than the respective wall panels to which the spline panels are joined, so that the spline panels cover joints between wall panels of adjacent wall sections when the adjacent wall sections are connected.
Modular building system with adhesive-joined spline connections between wall sections
A modular building system is provided which includes modular wall sections. Each wall section has a concrete support column reinforced within by metal rods and at least two wall panels which are formed of concrete. Spline panels are attached to the wall panels at one or both ends of each wall section to connect the wall section to an adjacent wall section. The spline panels are formed of concrete and have a width less than half a width of any of the wall panels. The spline panels are positioned so that a portion thereof extends further in a longitudinal direction of the wall section than the respective wall panels to which the spline panels are joined, so that the spline panels cover joints between wall panels of adjacent wall sections when the adjacent wall sections are connected.
Wall assembly and a building structure including the wall assembly
A wall assembly for forming an external wall on a building structure is disclosed. The wall assembly comprises a cladding and a plurality of vertical formwork members spaced along the wall assembly, and a horizontal formwork member extending along the top of the wall assembly. The formwork members are elongate profiles having a substantially constant cross sectional shape and they are arranged so that with the cladding they form an interconnected formwork defining a formwork space. A cementitious material cast within the formwork space is interconnected and forms a single underlying structural frame within the constructed wall assembly. The assembly includes connectors extending between the vertical and horizontal formwork members and the cladding on which they are mounted. Each connector extends from the cladding through the formwork space to the formwork member and is cast within the cementitious material. A method of building a wall assembly is also disclosed.
Wall assembly and a building structure including the wall assembly
A wall assembly for forming an external wall on a building structure is disclosed. The wall assembly comprises a cladding and a plurality of vertical formwork members spaced along the wall assembly, and a horizontal formwork member extending along the top of the wall assembly. The formwork members are elongate profiles having a substantially constant cross sectional shape and they are arranged so that with the cladding they form an interconnected formwork defining a formwork space. A cementitious material cast within the formwork space is interconnected and forms a single underlying structural frame within the constructed wall assembly. The assembly includes connectors extending between the vertical and horizontal formwork members and the cladding on which they are mounted. Each connector extends from the cladding through the formwork space to the formwork member and is cast within the cementitious material. A method of building a wall assembly is also disclosed.
