Hot stamping method

A method for implementing a channel (56) includes providing a preform (20) having a recess (22) therein and heating a channel implementation element (30) to a temperature greater than a melting temperature of a material of the preform (20). An external contour of the channel implementation element (30) at least regionally corresponds to an internal contour of the channel (56) to be implemented. The method then moves the heated channel implementation and/or the preform (20) in relation to one another so that the heated channel implementation element (56) at least regionally moves into the recess (22) in a moving-in direction. The material of the preform (20) is at least partially melted in a region around the recess (20) and is at least partially displaced by the channel implementation element (30), wherein at least a part of the channel (56) to be implemented is thus implemented.

Storage systems and methods

A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. Each container may be provided with connectors having a push fit male connector located at a top edge of the container and a female connector at a bottom edge of the container. Adjacent containers in a stack can be linked by routing means, which form moldings on each container. The connectors can also have spring-loaded contacts. The provision of these services within individual containers rather than across the system as a whole, allows for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.

PORTABLE SOUND SYSTEM

A system for enhancing sound includes a structure defining a first portion of an oblong enclosure that forms an approximated double ellipse profile and positioned between a first area proximate a first speaker driver and a second area proximate the listener, the first portion of the oblong enclosure forming a first part of the approximated double ellipse profile; and a second portion of the oblong enclosure that forms the approximated double ellipse profile and positioned between a third area proximate a second speaker driver and a fourth area proximate the listener, the second portion of the oblong enclosure forming a second part of the approximated double ellipse profile. The first portion and the second portion are shaped such that sound emitted from the first speaker driver and the second speaker driver is reflected and focused toward the listener.

INTERIOR PANEL AND INTERIOR PANEL STRUCTURE

An interior panel to be suspended and supported movably along a railway laid on a ceiling portion of a building, including: an upper panel member; a lower panel member disposed below the upper panel member; and a frame including at least an upper frame to be attached movably along the railway and a lower frame configured to hold a lower edge portion of the upper panel member and to hold an upper edge portion of the lower panel member.

Storage system with partition means and methods

A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing, and data logging. A method of partitioning the storage system prevents the spread of fire or prevent damage caused by sprinkler activation.

Room divider system and connector for a room divider system

A room divider system comprising at least one panel having a first sheet and a second sheet spaced apart by means of at least one lath, wherein said system further comprises a connector forming a rigid structure for associated equipment, said connector being configured to be at least partially inserted in a cavity formed between said first and second sheets, wherein the connector is arranged to be attached to the at least one lath.

Two-piece track system

A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.

DISMANTLABLE ANECHOIC CHAMBER
20190017265 · 2019-01-17 ·

A dismantlable anechoic chamber for sound attenuation includes a number of interconnected panels. The panels have a groove around their edges. The spaces produced by the corresponding grooves at contacting edges of adjacent panels are occupied by battens. The panels have a sandwich-type structure, in which a layer of sound-attenuating material is positioned between the two main faces of the panel. There is dimensional interference between the battens and the panels. The chamber has, on its internal face, an additional sound-attenuating layer. This sound-attenuating material is a foam-like material. The batten has an intermediate layer of sound-attenuating foam material.
