The light shield is oriented to direct an ultraviolet light from the light source through the open-ended cells towards the heat exchanger or drain pan and away from the one or more access openings and ultraviolet light-sensitive components.

The disclosed solution distribution systems further include a controller disposed in electrical communication with a control valve and the pump module. The controller is configured to engage the control valve to dispense the anti-pathogenic solution via the dispersion nozzle assembly into the air stream for a dispersion event period and at a dispersion interval.
