Systems and methods of modular construction. Modular wall systems segregate building spaces assigned to specific owners. Flexible housing provided by modular wall systems can expand or contract in size to adapt to owner and building needs. Modular wall systems provide walls that can be configured and reconfigured to partially or fully enclose units.

The invention relates to a drywall comprising a first wall section (2) with first stud elements (4), wherein the first stud elements are arranged with a first regular centre distance, wherein in the first wall section a first panelling (5) is arranged at least on one room side (R) of the first stud elements (4). The drywall is characterized by a second wall section (3) with second stud elements (6), wherein a second panelling (7) is arranged in the second wall section at least on the room side (R) of the second stud elements (6) and wherein the second stud elements are arranged with a second regular centre distance (C) which is smaller than the first regular centre distance (A). The invention also relates to a kit and a method for constructing a drywall.

Sound damping wallboard and method of constructing a sound damping wallboard

A sound damping wallboard for installation on an installed wallboard, a sound damping wallboard system, and a method of constructing a sound damping wallboard on a building structure are disclosed. The sound damping wallboard includes a gypsum layer having a gypsum layer inner surface and a gypsum layer outer surface, a first sound damping layer disposed at the gypsum layer inner surface and having a first sound damping layer inner surface opposite the gypsum layer inner surface, a first encasing layer disposed at the gypsum layer outer surface, a second encasing layer disposed at the first sound damping layer inner surface, and a second sound damping layer disposed at the second encasing layer opposite the first sound damping layer inner surface.

Acoustic panel for partition wall assembly
09850657 · 2017-12-26 · ·

An office partition system including a partition frame having front and rear sides. Front and rear transparent sheet material is disposed on the front and rear sides of the partition frame, respectively. Horizontally and vertically extending dividers are disposed between the front and rear transparent sheet material to define a plurality of vertically juxtaposed interior chambers. The front transparent sheet material comprises a plurality of first sheets, each first sheet having horizontally-extending upper and lower edges. The upper and lower edges of adjacent first sheets are vertically spaced apart to define horizontally elongated gaps therebetween. The horizontally elongated gaps are fluidly connected to interior chambers disposed above and below the horizontal dividers to define Helmholtz resonators whereby sound that is incident on the front side of the partition frame is absorbed to the Helmholtz resonance.

Sound dampening wall

An acoustic dampening dual-stud construction member is disclosed herein. The dual-stud construction member is composed of two single studs adhered to each other with an acoustic dampening material and spaced a fixed distance apart from each other as a single unitary member which may be used in building construction. Walls having a high sound transmission coefficient may be quickly and easily assembled using the unitary member composed of two studs.

Fire blocking reveal

A fire-rated reveal piece and wall assemblies or other assemblies that incorporate the fire-rated reveal piece, in which the reveal piece can include an intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The reveal can be attached adjacent to a corner, flange or leg of a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed between the framing member and a wall board member at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. A fire spray material can be applied over a portion of the reveal piece.

Head-of-wall top track gasket member for acoustic and firestopping insulation

A sealing gasket assembly for sealing a head-of-wall construction including a member body having a top member with first and second spaced apart side panels depending from the top member. The intersection of the first side panel and the top member defines a first inside corner and a first outside corner and the intersection of the second side panel and the top member defines a second inside corner and a second outside corner. A supplemental sealing member extends along each of the first and second outside corners. Each supplemental sealing member is manufactured from a flexible material and is configured such that a panel abutment portion thereof extends along at least a portion of an outside surface of the respective side panel and a return portion extends along at least a portion of an outside surface of the top member.

Modular roll-up wall system
12234637 · 2025-02-25 · ·

A roll-up wall system including a frame having a longitudinal axis, a first roller disposed in the frame, a second roller disposed in the frame, and a tube disposed in the frame. A screen may be connected to the tube. The screen may be supported by the first roller and the second roller. Further, the screen may be movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the screen is rolled around the tube which is spaced a first distance from the first roller. In the second configuration, the screen forms a barrier adjacent the frame, and the tube is spaced a second distance from the first roller. The second distance may be less than the first distance. Also, the roll-up wall system may be an acoustic barrier which achieves a Sound Transmission Class rating ranging from approximately 31 STC to approximately 53 STC.

STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A storage system is disclosed where goods can be stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of rails (e.g., tracks) on which load handling devices can run. To take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following exemplary services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensors, and data logging devices. The provision of these services within the framework rather than across the system as a whole, can allow for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.
