AIR PURIFYING SYSTEM AND METHOD ADAPTED FOR MOVABLE ENCLOSED SPACE
Provided are an air purifying system and method adapted for a movable enclosed space. The air purifying system includes a charged gas generating source, a blowing system, a circulation system, and one or more electrical neutralization devices. The electrical neutralization devices are disposed in the movable enclosed space to neutralize charged gas in the movable enclosed space. The charged gas generating source which generates the charged gas with negative ions in high concentration and the electrical neutralization devices disposed in the movable enclosed space not only enable persons in the movable enclosed space to access high-quality air but also preclude any adverse impact of negative ions in high concentration on important electrical equipment.
VR EXPERIENCE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION SPACE
A VR experience system for construction space includes: a virtual object database for storing a plurality of virtual objects; a virtual object controlling module for receiving an operating instruction of a service provider; a virtual object selecting module for executing the operating instruction of the service provider and selecting the virtual objects from the virtual object database; a virtual object generating module for generating a virtual space and generating the virtual objects in the virtual space; and a virtual object displaying module for displaying the virtual space and the virtual objects.
Perforated acoustic tiles
An acoustic tile used for a modular wall system includes a substrate layer having a plurality of holes that extend at least partially through the substrate layer, and a veneer layer having a plurality of microholes extending at least partially therethrough. The two layers are attached together and configured for attachment to a frame of a modular wall system such that they provide desired acoustic properties to the modular wall system.
SOUND DAMPENING WALL
An acoustic dampening dual-stud construction member is disclosed herein. The dual-stud construction member is composed of two single studs adhered to each other with an acoustic dampening material and spaced a fixed distance apart from each other as a single unitary member which may be used in building construction. Walls having a high sound transmission coefficient may be quickly and easily assembled using the unitary member composed of two studs.
Quick assemble wall system, and related methods
A wall panel includes a first upright post, a second upright post, an upper stretcher connecting the first upright post to the second upright post, a lower stretcher connecting the first upright post to the second upright post, and a frame having an extrusion profile, wherein the extrusion profile is configured to couple the frame to the wall panel frame. A wall panel assembly includes a plurality of the wall panels.
Object handling system and method
A vehicle for use with an object handling system, the object handling system including two substantially perpendicular sets of rails forming a first grid, a plurality of first uprights supporting the first grid, a plurality of containers arranged in stacks, each stack being located underneath the first grid, one or more robotic load handling devices configured to drive on top of the rails of the first grid, the one or more load handling devices including means for removing or replacing at least one container from the stacks. The vehicle includes two substantially perpendicular sets of rails forming a second grid substantially at the top of the vehicle above a storage space for carrying containers. The second grid interfaces with the first grid to allow the one or more load handling devices to drive from the rails of the first grid onto the rails of the second grid.
FIBER-TO-CHIP GRATING COUPLER FOR PHOTONIC CIRCUITS
Disclosed is a system and method for communication using an efficient fiber-to-chip grating coupler with a high coupling efficiency. In one embodiment, a method for communication, includes: transmitting optical signals between a semiconductor photonic die on a substrate and an optical fiber array attached to the substrate using at least one corresponding grating coupler on the semiconductor photonic die, wherein the at least one grating coupler each comprises a plurality of coupling gratings, a waveguide, a cladding layer, a first reflection layer and a second reflection layer, wherein the plurality of coupling gratings each comprises at least one step in a first lateral direction and extends in a second lateral direction, wherein the first and second lateral directions are parallel to a surface of the substrate and perpendicular to each other in a grating plane, wherein the first reflection layers are configured such that the plurality of coupling gratings is disposed between the first reflection layer and the cladding layer, wherein the second reflection layer are configured such that the cladding layer is disposed between the second reflection layer and the waveguide.
Sealing profile and drywall
A sealing profile can be used for an edge joint formed between a floor and adjacent cladding of drywall. The sealing profile has a base body for sealing the edge joint. The base body has an upper portion close to the cladding and an opposite bottom portion. The upper portion has an upper side which forms a support for the cladding. The sealing profile also has a lateral fastening portion running towards the base body for fastening the sealing profile to a lateral holding rail of the drywall. The fastening portion is only firmly connected to the base body via the bottom portion. The base body also has a side surface which is directly opposite the fastening portion and which is not connected to the opposite region of the fastening portion. Drywall can contain such a sealing profile.
Partition panel system
A partition system configured for building small temporary structures. The system includes a series of panels, each having cooperating connection interfaces. The connection interfaces include one or more moveable hooks on a first panel that is configured to extend into and attach a neighboring panel. The system also includes right angle frame members that allow for panels to be connected at right angles.
Wall stud acoustic performance
A framing assembly is disclosed including an acoustic framing arrangement and a plurality of tracks. The acoustic framing arrangement interconnects a top track with a bottom track. The acoustic framing arrangement includes a pair of studs positioned in back-to-back configuration and mechanically joined using a connector. The connector includes a vertical portion that extends between the pair of studs and a base portion that connects to the tracks. When assembled, the acoustic framing arrangement creates space between the pair of studs and positions the studs in an offset configuration to improve wall stud acoustic performance.
