Weather resistant temporary wall system and method
10501933 · 2019-12-10 · ·

A weather resistant temporary wall system and method useful for forming a temporary barrier during building construction or renovation includes a series of modular wall panels that may be removably fit together in the size needed. The wall panels have complimentary shaped edge profiles that form a protective barrier against water penetration. The wall panels may be assembled on site in vertically stacked relationship between a pair of support posts which extend from floor to ceiling. The side edges of the wall panels have edge profiles that are complimentary in shape to the side edges of the support posts such that the panels may be removably attached to the support posts. The wall panels may further include a string reinforced polyethylene material for increased strength.

A connection for a subarchitectural workspace includes a first structure with a first end and a second end opposite the first end and a second structure with a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The connection assembly further includes a first bracket with a first fine adjustment surface mounted to the first structure, a second bracket with a second fine adjustment surface that engages the first fine adjustment surface, and a clamping mechanism that applies a clamping force to the first and second fine adjustment surfaces to pull the first and second structures together.

Modular wall system having thin walls

A pre-fabricated wall system can include a first thin wall module and a second thin wall module. The two thin wall modules have a depth defined by a distance from a front surface of each thin wall module to aback surface of each thin wall module. The pre-fabricated wall system can further include a vertical connection post that has a first connection interface on a first side configured to secure to the first thin wall module. The first connection interface can include a first channel. The vertical connection post can also include a second connection interface on a second side opposite the first side configured to secure to the second thin wall module. The second connection interface can include a second channel. The two thin wall modules can be parallel or co-planar to one another when the two thin wall modules are secured to the vertical connection post.

Disclosed is a structural element for securing glass screens, which is formed by: a metal support profile in which is located a seating zone of the glass, the end of the profile including a vertical rib preceded by a rectangular groove and a second V groove; a closing metal profile including an L-shaped protrusion that can be coupled to the vertical rib, the end of the projection being inserted into the rectangular groove and a V rib that sits in the V groove; and an elastic profile in T whose having a vertical section formed by two or more parallel walls through which pass two or more inclined planes that protrude through the sides.

Wall Construction System with Drywall Composite Columns and Method for Wall Construction
20190284802 · 2019-09-19 ·

Disclosed are a wall construction system with drywall composite columns and a method for constructing walls using thin sheet steel sections in concrete composite construction for erecting story-high walls with at least one-sided planking with building boards, in particular for residential buildings. Structural loads of solid ceilings and facade walls are absorbed via the composite columns arranged in a modular grid within the wall plane. The joining of the composite columns takes place at the column head over a concrete beam on which the ceiling rests. In-filling wall or facade elements may be arranged between the composite columns. The composite columns include a concrete composite column with a sheet metal reinforcement and a spatially offset thin-walled sheet steel section for mounting drywall thereto even after the metal reinforcement has been filled with concrete. The sheet metal reinforcement and the thin-walled sheet steel section may have different material qualities and thicknesses.

The present invention relates to metal framed wall components with self-locking connections having ledges connected to support members and crossing connecting members having punch out tabs being connected to ledges, notches and tabs being connected to other tabs interlocking together to connect wall components together. The wall components spanning between support members connected by holes from support members, hooked receivers, hooked tongues, hook finger ends from the wall components wherein also U-shaped and W-shape clips can also connect other wall components. The wall components can be installed individually or in tandem vertically, horizontally and diagonally between support members or over the side edges.

MODULAR AND REUSABLE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION WALL

A modular, reusable temporary enclosure system is particularly suited for the renovation of buildings having stacked concrete floors supported by steel and/or concrete columns. The system consists of a set of track components, one fastened to the floor, and one fastened to the ceiling. Columns assembled from rigid panels are supported and aligned between these components. The panel edges are connected to one another by an interfacing spline assembly. To ensure that the components can be brought up to the construction site by elevator, individual panels are shorter than the full distance between the floors.
