BREWERY AND STEAM VENT ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM
The invention disclosed herein relates to an odor control system including features to allow a media scrubber to function to treat a humid, or saturated, or superheated exhaust stream. In some embodiments, the system disclosed herein can capture a humid, or saturated, or superheated exhaust stream, such as from a kettle vent, and dilute the exhaust with fresh air to lower the temperature of the combined air flow below its dew point. Water is drained from the system as it condenses in the system. The combined air flow can be further diluted and/or treated according to embodiments disclosed herein such that the exhaust stream, after having excess water removed, will have a relative humidity (RH) value enabling it to be run through a media scrubber.
AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM USING PHOTOCATALYTIC OXIDATION (PCO)
Aspects of the present disclosure provide a system for abating a hydrocarbon compound (HCC) in air using photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). For example, the system can include an air handling unit (AHU), a sensor and a control panel. The AHU can be configured to abate HCC in air using PCO. The sensor can be configured to sense a level of the HCC in the air. The control panel can be configured to control the AHU based on the level of the HCC.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENHANCING EFFECTIVENESS OF PRODUCTS GENERATED FROM IONIZATION, OXIDATION, PHOTOOXIDATION, PHOTOCATALYTIC, AND PHOTOCHEMICAL REACTIONS
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for producing one or more of trioxygen, hydrogen and its ions, oxygen and its ions, hydrons, hydroperoxyls, and electronically modified oxygen derivatives from oxidizing agents that are exposed to photon emissions at a wavelength in a range of 0.01 nm to 845 nm, wherein wavelengths that photo-dissociate trioxygen may be excluded. The methods, systems and apparatuses enhance the effectiveness of photo-oxidation, photocatalytic, and/or photochemical combined with photocatalytic reactions.
System and method for maintaining, monitoring and/or improving air quality and purity in at least one room or environment
A system and method for maintaining, monitoring and improving air quality and purity in a room or environment, such as a hospital room or operating room.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR AIR CLEANING
An air filtering and treatment apparatus (10), the apparatus (10) including: a housing (12) having an air inlet (14), an air outlet (16), an air passageway (24) between the inlet (14) and outlet (16), and a fan (18) arranged to urge air through the air passageway (24) between the air inlet (14) and the air outlet (16), wherein the housing (12) includes filter (20) arranged to filter air passing through the air passageway (24), and a receptacle (26) located toward the air outlet (16) relative to filter (20). The receptacle (26) is adapted to hold treatment composition (22) such that an evaporable vapour associated with the treatment composition (22) is able to accumulate in a headspace (41) of the receptacle (26), the headspace (41) including at least one aperture (36). The air passageway (24) may be shaped such that air flows substantially perpendicularly past the at least one aperture (36) of the receptacle (26) such that a pre-determined amount of the evaporable vapour is entrained into the filtered air released from the air outlet (16). A system (100) and method are also disclosed.
AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS
This disclosure discloses an air purification apparatus, and the air purification apparatus includes an inner housing, a plurality of photocatalytic reactors and a light source. The inner housing is porous to allow air flow to pass. The photocatalytic reactors are filled in the inner housing. The photocatalytic reactors respectively have a photocatalytic layer formed thereon. The light source is disposed in the inner housing and surrounded by the photocatalytic reactors. The light source is configured to irradiate photocatalytic reactors to activate the photocatalytic layers on the photocatalytic reactors.
