Open-Cell Foam Environmental Indicator
An open-cell foam structure that is used to detect and remove substances from water or air.
Disinfectant pouch with fluid control
A disinfectant device including a pouch, the pouch including a first layer of material coupled to a second layer of material and defining a compartment therebetween. At least one dry reactant is retained within the compartment, the at least one dry reactant producing chlorine dioxide gas when exposed to water. A wick is at least partially disposed within the compartment. At least one from the group consisting of the first layer of material and the second layer of material define an array of ports along a periphery of the pouch and an array of fluid conduits, the array of fluid conduits being proximal to the array of ports, offset from the array of ports, in fluid communication with the wick, the compartment, and the array of ports.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPOSITE MICROWAVE AIR PURIFIER
An air purification device for use in an air management system includes a housing formed from a polymer matrix composite structure and a filter arranged within the housing. The filter is formed from a porous composite structure including a plurality of filter fibers such that air is configured to flow through the filter. Microbes within the air are configured to contact the plurality of filter fibers.
METHOD FOR SCREENING OF UNPLEASANT ODOR MASKING AGENTS
The present invention relates to a method for screening a candidate substance for an unpleasant odor masking agent from among test substances using an olfactory receptor that is responsive to an unpleasant odor-causing substance. The screening method of the present invention includes the steps of: adding a test substance and an unpleasant odor-causing substance to an olfactory receptor polypeptide selected from the group consisting of OR2L3 and polypeptides which comprise an amino acid sequence having at least 80% identity to an amino acid sequence of OR2L3 and are responsive to the unpleasant odor-causing substance; measuring a response of the olfactory receptor polypeptide to the unpleasant odor-causing substance; and identifying the test substance that suppresses the response of the olfactory receptor polypeptide as a candidate substance for the unpleasant odor masking agent based on the measured response.
DISINFECTANT MISTING SYSTEM AND ASSEMBLY
A disinfectant misting system and assembly operably configured to selectively control emission of an atomized spray of disinfectant solution within an enclosed structure at desired times, in desired locations, and for a desired amount of flow through at least one electronic control unit in an effective and efficient manner, and comprising a liquid supply housing with a liquid disinfectant storage tank housing a disinfectant solution, a disinfectant supply pump, an electronically controlled room pressure regulation component, and an electronically controlled pump pressure regulation component fluidly couplable to a liquid conduit assembly operably configured to transport the disinfectant solution to at least one disinfectant emission housing operably configured to emit an atomized spray of the disinfectant solution into the enclosed room space.
Dual-Disinfection Germicial Lighting Device
A dual-disinfecting germicidal lighting device includes a housing, an air-permeable porous carrier with at least two sides, a fan, two light sources, and two means of disinfection that are back-up means for each other. A first means of disinfection is an air-disinfection means and it includes the housing, the air-permeable porous carrier, the fan, and the first light source. The air-permeable porous carrier contains a photocatalyst material, and the first light source activates the photocatalyst material in air-permeable porous carrier. The housing, the air-permeable porous carrier, and the fan together form an air chamber. The fan forces the surrounding air through the air-permeable porous carrier. A second means of disinfection is an air-and-surface disinfection means that includes the second light source. The second light source is a germicidal light source that disinfects pathogens in the surrounding air or on a nearby surface through the shining of its light.
SPACE CLEANING SYSTEM AND SPACE CLEANING METHOD
A space cleaning system includes: a detection unit configured to detect generation and a generation position of an infectious substance in a space; an airflow control unit configured to generate an airflow towards the generation position detected in response to detection of the generation of the infectious substance; and a cleaning control unit configured to clean the space at least after the generation of the infectious substance is detected.
STERILIZING APPARATUS AND STERILIZING METHOD
A sterilization apparatus includes a fanner that has an inlet through which air is inhaled and an outlet from which the air is blown out and blows out a spiral air current from the outlet, an atomizer that sprays a chemical solution for sterilization into the air to be blown out from the outlet, into the spiral air current blown out from the outlet, or on a sterilization target, and a light emitter that emits light in the direction in which the spiral air current is blown out from the outlet.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISINFECTING AN INTERIOR OF AN AIRCRAFT
An aircraft includes an interior and an environmental system configured to circulate air through the interior. The aircraft also includes at least one disinfectant dispenser configured to dispense a disinfectant in the air circulated through the interior.
WATER-SOLUBLE EFFERVESCENT SOLID PERFUME
The present invention relates to a water-soluble effervescent solid perfume comprising a high content of fragrance which does not include organic solvents such as surfactants, preservatives, and alcohols. In addition, additional components may be carried for cleaning and sterilizing effects, and the effects of fragrance, cleaning, sterilization, and the like may be increased by impartation of an effervescent property. Furthermore, there is no generation of residual by-products after effervescent, and may be processed into a solid formulation, thereby improving stability and improving portability and convenience of use.
