LIGHT GAUGE STEEL JOIST BASIC STRUCTURE SYSTEM OF LIGHT PARTITION WALL AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A light gauge steel joist basic structure system of a light partition wall is disclosed, comprising: top and ground joists and vertical joists. The top and ground joists comprise a ground joist and a top joist. The vertical joist is provided between the top and ground joists by means of a first connection member. The vertical joist and the vertical joist are fixedly connected to each other by means of the first connection member and/or a second connection member. V-shaped slots are symmetrically provided on two side walls of the top and ground joists. The V-shaped slots are provided on the side walls and the bottoms of the vertical joists. A construction method for a light gauge steel joist basic structure of a light partition wall is also disclosed. The light gauge steel joist basic structure system is simple and fast to be constructed and has desirable flatness.
Building component
A building component (1) for attachment to an uneven surface (32) such that a gap (34) exists at one or more locations between the building component (1) and the uneven surface (32), the building component (1) including mounting means (10) located at one or more positions along the building component (1), the mounting means (10) having a portion (20) adapted to be located outside the plane of the building component (1) and between the building component (1) and the uneven surface (32), wherein fastening means attaches the mounting means (10) to the uneven surface (32) to enable the building component (1) to remain substantially straight when attached to the uneven surface (32).
ADJUSTABLE METAL FRAMING SYSTEM AND CONNECTON
The present invention describes an interlocking metal framing system where two concentric support members slide between each other to enable the support member to form a longer length without using extensions to add the additional length to the support members whether installed as vertical support members for a wall; or as horizontal support members for ceiling support members; or as floor-ceiling support members. The concentric support members have notches together to form a longer support member. The connector can be a clip connecting the two concentric support members together whether installed vertically or horizontally; or by having a longitudinal spacing-bracing member pass through the apertures connecting the perimeter notches of adjacent support members. The perimeter notches interlock the spacing-bracing member to the two concentric support members together eliminating vertical and horizontal movement between the concentric support members as well as the adjacent support members. The apertures are setback from both ends or both concentric support members allowing the additional length to be projected above or below the concentric support members.
MULTI-POSITION MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR WALL PANELS AND HANGINGS
A multi-position mounting system is provided for securing a wall panel or hanging to a vertical wall, the wall panel or hanging having a front surface facing away from the wall, a back surface opposite the front, and one or more side surfaces connecting the front and back surfaces. In one embodiment, the multi-position mounting system includes a notch disposed in the back surface of the wall panel, the notch having at least three edges, each edge defining a separate sidewall surface. The notch is configured to secure to a bracket affixed to the vertical wall, the bracket configured to separately mate with each sidewall surface of the notch, wherein mating the bracket with an adjacent sidewall surface of the notch slightly rotates the wall panel with respect to the vertical wall.
A STUD WALL RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR IN-PLANE BUILDING MOVEMENT ISOLATION
A stud wall restraint system for in-plane building movement isolation uses a channel having side flanges and a web therebetween. The web has intermittent elongate longitudinal slots orientated along a longitudinal axis of the channel and the web comprises intermittent integrally formed fold out connectors which comprise elongate slots. The channel can be used for arrangements that allow for non-axial loadbearing walls to accommodate in-plane vertical and horizontal building movements whilst providing for enhanced structural restraint and resistance against out-of-plane transverse actions.
WORKSTATION
A workstation includes a frame having a lower rail and a plurality of upright posts coupled to and extending upwardly from the lower rail. Each upright post has a track. The workstation also includes a plurality of panels supported by the frame. Each panel has a first side edge received in the track of one of the plurality of upright posts, a second side edge received in the track of another of the plurality of upright posts, and a lower edge adjacent the lower rail. The lower edge has a first length. Each panel also has an upper edge opposite the lower edge. The upper edge has a second length that is longer than the first length.

ELASTO-MECHANICAL CHAMBER
The elasto-mechanical chamber is a device for the internal coupling and joining of C-type structural profiles. According to the invention, by securing the open elastic casing of the chamber by means of mechanical pressure, in a firm but not totally rigid manner, the device allows energy to be dissipated to the profile(s) to which it is joined. The elasto-mechanical chamber covers the single elasto-mechanical chamber and the double elasto-mechanical chamber, both of which have a similar design in terms of shape, number of components and action mechanism, and hence the same name. The features of each can be used to create bi-directional connectors and multi-directional connectors that can meet the different connection requirements of different types of structures and physical bodies.
Clip and method of using the clip to mount a furring channel on an elongated load bearing member of a drywall grid system
Disclosed is a clip and method of mounting a furring channel to a load bearing member of a drywall grid system. The load bearing member includes an elongated web having an enlarged upper portion and a lower portion from which a pair of coplanar flanges projecting outward. The clip includes a bottom wall and an end wall from which two hanger hooks project upward. Each hanger hook includes a folded over portion configured to snap-fit and entrap a portion of the enlarged upper portion of the load bearing member, with the bottom wall being disposed on one of flanges of the load bearing member. A second clip is mounted on the load bearing member in a similar manner so that its bottom wall is disposed on the other of the flanges of the load bearing member, and with the hanger hooks of the two clips being interposed. A respective furring channel is mounted on each of the clip to be supported thereby.
WEATHER RESISTANT TEMPORARY WALL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A weather resistant temporary wall system and method useful for forming a temporary barrier during building construction or renovation includes a series of modular wall panels that may be removably fit together in the size needed. The wall panels have complimentary shaped edge profiles that form a protective barrier against water penetration. The wall panels may be assembled on site in vertically stacked relationship between a pair of support posts which extend from floor to ceiling. The side edges of the wall panels have edge profiles that are complimentary in shape to the side edges of the support posts such that the panels may be removably attached to the support posts. The wall panels may further include a string reinforced polyethylene material for increased strength.
