Two of the four frame elements 2, 3, 4 are configured as frame elements 2, 3 extending in a vertical direction Y, one of which is configured as a pillar element 2 and the other one as an edge element 3. Two others of the four frame elements 2, 3, 4 are configured as framework elements 4 extending in a horizontal direction X where each of the framework elements 4 bears with a horizontal end on the pillar element 2 and the edge element 3 is placed with a first horizontal section 31 between the framework elements 4 and projects with a second horizontal section 32 horizontally over the framework elements 4. The edge element 3 is formed by a one-piece metal or plastic element and has a cross-section configured as a U-shape perpendicularly to the vertical direction Y, wherein the U-shape is open towards the frame inside and is formed by two side walls 30 that are spaced from each other throughout the first horizontal section 31 and that are connected with each other exclusively in the second horizontal section 32, wherein the edge element 3 has in the second horizontal section 32 a maximal width in a transverse direction Z, that is perpendicular to both the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, that is less than a width of the groove of the pillar element 2 in the transverse direction Z, wherein in particular the pillar element 2 has at least one receiving groove that is configured identical to the groove of the pillar element 2 into which the panel 5 is inserted.
TAB TRACK FIRE-RATED WALL ASSEMBLY WITH DYNAMIC MOVEMENT
A fire-rated head-of-wall assembly includes a header track having bendable tabs, a pair of which is configured to hold a wall stud in place relative to the header track. An upper wallboard piece abuts against the ceiling and a lower wallboard piece is spaced from the upper wallboard piece to form a gap. A fire-resistant material, such as mineral wool, is positioned within the gap. An outer wallboard piece spans across the gap.
Seat pivot bracket and beam seating system
A seat connection mechanism having a bracket portion which is metal and includes a pivot area, an opening and a channel. A metal pin portion includes a pin and a stop portion, the pin rests in the pivot area such that the shelf portion inhibits movement of the pin portion along the pin's rotation axis, the pin configured to rotate within the pivot area about a rotation axis. The channel in the bracket portion arranged to pass adjacent and through an area of the center pivot, the channel arranged such that the stop portion of the pin portion are insertable into the channel through the opening at an insertion angle to allow the pin to rest in the pivot area and such that when the pin rotates within the center pivot, the stop portion of the pin portion moves within the bracket and the stop portion is configured to interact with the bracket at one or more predefined positions to stop rotation of the pin portion.
Demountable barrier system
An exemplary demountable barrier system includes a panel, a frame structure having a channel to receive the panel, and a seal compressing against the panel to hold the panel. The seal is slideably attached to the frame structure.
SHAFTWALL SYSTEM USING FOLDED PANELS, AND PANEL
A panel for a shaftwall system includes a panel body with a core and at least one outer facing layer and an opposite backing surface. A score line is formed in the facing layer, defining two folded panel portions. The panel is folded along the score line to form a folded edge, and the folded panel portions are arranged so that the backing surfaces of the panel portions contact each other. A companion shaftwall building structure system is provided, including a plurality of the panels defining an enclosure, each panel being a -inch thick wallboard panel having a V-shaped score line defining a pair of panel portions, the score line forms a tapered edge of the folded panel. A plurality of brackets is provided, each bracket defining a panel track dimensioned for slidingly accommodating the folded panel and retaining the panel in place without the use of fasteners.
Header track with stud retention feature
A track for a wall construction for use in building construction is disclosed. Embodiments can include a track having a plurality of bendable tabs that can be manipulated to grip or release wall studs to prevent lateral or side to side movement of the studs. Embodiments can include tracks which incorporate various geometries capable of receiving fire-retardant material, including but not limited to intumescent material.
