Movable partition systems and related methods

A movable partition system includes a movable partition, a floating jamb attached to an end of the movable partition and located within a pocket configured to retain the movable partition when in a retracted position, at least two base plates attached to the floating jamb, and at least two jamb stops attached to opposing interior walls of the pocket. Each of the at least two jamb stops are configured to engage a respective base plate of the floating jamb, wherein the floating jamb, the at least two base plates, and the at least two jamb stops are configured such that disengaging the floating jamb from a secure position within the pocket when the movable partition is in an extended position requires disengaging one of the at least two jamb stops from the respective base plate on each side of the movable partition. Methods of providing a security barrier are disclosed.

System for reversibly dividing a space

A system for reversibly dividing a space is disclosed. A first panel consists of a first vertical member and a first horizontal member attached perpendicular to a bottom end of the first vertical member and extends away from the first vertical member towards a second panel. The second panel consists of a second vertical member and a second horizontal member attached perpendicular to a top end of the second vertical member and extends away from the second vertical member towards the first panel. The first and second panel can be stored in an overhead position. The space is reversibly divided when the first panel and the second panel are lowered. The first panel is lowered such that the first panel forms a top portion of a wall. The second panel is lowered until the second horizontal member rests on the first horizontal member, forming a bottom portion of the wall.

Free standing sliding panel footed barrier

A free standing barrier includes two panels that slide parallel to each other. Each of the panels includes a lower outer corner portion on which is mounted a foot. The feet, in combination with each other, hold the barrier upright and make the barrier free standing. One foot engages one sliding panel and the other foot engages the other sliding panel. Each of the feet includes an outward extension that works as a stop against, for example, a doorjamb, to prevent the barrier from being pushed, such as by a dog, through the opening that the barrier is intended to close off.

A collapsible wall for covering an opening in a structure when the collapsible wall is in an extended position. The collapsible wall including a plurality of frame sections engaged with each other to form a telescoping frame movable between the extended position and a retracted position, the frame sections forming at least a portion of a face of the collapsible wall and defining an aperture through the face. A panel is removably engaged to the frame sections, the panel covering the aperture when the panel is disposed in a closed position.

Dual Trolley for Hinged Panels and Segmented Tracks
20210002935 · 2021-01-07 ·

A folding panel system that allows foldable panels, such as folding glass doors, to fold and move around segmented tracks. The system includes a trolley assembly. The trolley assembly can include a pair of dual roller assemblies spaced rigidly apart by a rigid guide member and supported by an overhead guide track. The rigid guide member is positioned outside of the guide track and moves lengthwise along the overhead guide track except between overhead linear track segments. A hinge extension is secured to and extends rigidly away from the rigid guide member vertically away from the guide track. This configuration holds the hinge extension at a constant angle with respect to the guide track. The hinge extension pivotably joins hinge leaves from adjacent panels hingedly joining the two panels.

PORTABLE BARRICADE AND SUPPORT DEVICE

A mobile barricade support device employs one or more rolling weight-supporting platforms, with a vertical strut extending from each of the one or more platforms to engage and support a barricade wall. The platforms may optionally be fixedly secured together by a horizontal strut and one or more backing brace members may optionally be secured to the platforms and the vertical struts for additional support.

Systems for Reversibly Dividing a Space

A system for reversibly dividing a space is disclosed. Independent panels, with track followers attached to both narrow sides, move along parallel tracks. The panels start in an overhead storage space. The tracks are shaped such that as the panels move from the storage space into the space to be divided, one panel stops higher and the next panel slides down and then under the first panel. These panels preferably form a single-plane divider in the space.

Double-Cabin Featuring an Angular Wall

A method of creating a pair of cabins comprising: a first cabin; a second cabin; wherein the first cabin and the second cabin are adjacent to each other and are defined by a plurality of outer walls defining a substantially rectangular area containing the first cabin and the second cabin; wherein the first outer wall meets the second outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, the second outer wall meets the third outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, the third outer wall meets the fourth outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, and the fourth outer wall meets the first outer wall at a (90) degree angle; the first cabin and second cabin also sharing a common wall separating the first cabin from the second cabin; and wherein the common wall is operatively connected to an outer wall at an angle other than ninety (90) degrees.
