Building forms and method of assembling same
A building form system including a plurality of forms for assembling into a wall template that is filled with concrete to create a building wall. The system includes a corner form assembly comprising an inner corner form and an outer corner form for disposition on a corner footing. The outer corner form includes walls angled from a bend. A pair of connectors are disposed on opposite ends from the bend. The inner corner form includes corresponding connectors for attachment to the outer corner form around a preset vertical rebar in the corner footing. The system further includes a base form extending between a first pair of connectors that include a peripheral wall disposed directly therebetween and the second pair of connectors for mating engagement with the first that include an inset wall spaced inwardly therefrom. Spacing between the peripheral and inset wall of adjacent base forms accommodating vertical rebar.
CONCRETE FORM BRACKET FOR USE IN CASTING A FOUNDATION WALL INTEGRAL WITH A FLOOR
A concrete form bracket for a concrete form having an outer form wall and an inner form wall for defining an outer surface and an inner surface of a perimeter foundation wall. The bracket is a rigid, metal, frame member, having a first upright leg portion joined to the outer form wall, a second upright leg portion joined to the inner form wall, and a bridge portion connected between the first and second upright leg portions. The bracket has fastener apertures for fastening the first and second leg portions to wood material of the respective outer and inner form walls in a manner that allows the inner form wall to be suspended from the brackets which are in turn supported on the outer form wall such that the inner form wall is entirely supported on the outer form wall.
METHOD FOR PREPARING CONCRETE-FILLED STEEL TUBULAR EDGE-CONSTRAINED LAMINATED SHEAR WALL
Disclosed is a method for preparing a concrete-filled steel tubular edge-constrained laminated shear wall, belonging to the field of prefabricated buildings. The method allows for integrated hoisting during installation, leading to a simple working procedure and easy quality control. During manufacturing, an interior wythe board is flipped and placed on supporting members on rectangular steel tubes, no cavity formwork or bracket is needed in a cavity, and thus an operation of pulling out the cavity formwork is avoided, and high production efficiency is achieved. The rectangular steel tubes can be welded to horizontal steel bars of interior and exterior wythe boards, avoiding the cumbersome working procedure and high cost caused by stud connection while achieving reliable connection and direct force transmission.
Modular building formwork apparatus with an interlocking device
A modular building formwork apparatus includes a formwork wall and at least one interlocking device. The formwork wall includes a wall plate and a frame disposed on the wall plate. The frame has an aligning hole and a locking hole. The interlocking device includes a housing unit, a rotation transferring unit, a transmitting unit and a locking member. The rotation transferring unit has an input shaft and an output shaft. The transmitting unit is movable relative to and rotatable about the output shaft. The locking member has a head portion, a positioning portion and a threaded portion. The locking member is insertable into the aligning hole to permit the threaded portion to threadedly engage in the locking hole.
Formwork
A building formwork module for use in a modular formwork system, the module comprising a first wall spaced away from a second wall, the first and second walls being connected by at least one web extending between the first and second walls, the first and second walls and said at least one web defining a channel extending over at least a part of a longitudinal length of the module, the channel adapted to accommodate fill material during use, the web further comprising at least two apertures spaced apart across the web in between the first and second walls such that during use one or more transverse reinforcing members can be positioned in between reinforcing members received in the spaced apart apertures thereby limiting movement of the transverse reinforcing member there-between during use.
Connector components for form-work systems and methods for use of same
An apparatus for a stay-in-place form assembly comprises a plurality of elongated panels connectable to one another in edge-to-edge relationship. The plurality of panels comprise first and second panels connectable to one another at a connection between a generally male connector component of the first panel and a generally female connector component of the second panel. The generally female connector component comprises a female engagement portion which defines a principal receptacle and the generally male connector component comprises a male engagement portion which is received in the principal receptacle to form the connection. The generally female connector component comprises a first abutment portion and the generally male connector component comprises a second abutment portion which abuts against the first abutment portion to form the connection. The first and second abutment portions are located outside of the principal receptacle.
Connector for form boards and system for cast construction
The invention relates to a method for producing cast structures, and a set of connectors for connecting a pair of opposed, spaced apart boards which are useful in said method. A kit of elements useful as support frames in the production of the cast structures is also provided.
Retaining wall
Disclosed is an economical and effective way of producing a modular retaining wall for a material to be retained, using only blocks which in and of themselves are of insufficient thickness to function as retaining wall blocks. The modular wall includes backer blocks and facing blocks which are connected by separate connectors in a back to back, spaced apart arrangement, thereby forming a hollow retaining wall. The hollow wall is filled with loose filler material to increase the mass and retaining capacity of the wall. None of the wall components is embedded in the material to be retained. Further disclosed are wall components and a wall kit for a modular retaining wall. A double sided decorative wall is also disclosed. The modular wall system allows for the construction of retaining walls and freestanding, double sided, decorative walls forming both straight and curved walls.
Insulating concrete form system
The insulating concrete form system includes longitudinal and corner block assemblies each having a pair of side panels configured with tie receivers interacting with panel spacing ties to hold the side panels in an opposing manner and leading edges with an alternating arrangement of projections and recesses for interlocking with neighboring block assemblies. Each panel spacing tie includes a mid-support section interposing in between and connecting to a pair of end sections by a living hinge with each end section being configured with a flange member for placement within an opposing spatial wedge of the tie receiver, whereby the living hinge possesses the capability of allowing the side panels to move inwardly toward one another in a racked position to yield compactness of the longitudinal block assembly for economical transport. The corner block assembly also includes corner panel spacing ties to supplementally reinforce its structure to withstand hydrostatic blowout caused by poured concrete.
Prefabricated module for casting a concrete wall
A concrete wall formwork module is provided in which the lateral and longitudinal opposite side edges of the modules are provided with complementary shapes that lock in place two adjacent modules when they are both deployed. The opposite side edges of adjacent modules interlock in one direction and are configured for adjoining according to a shiplap arrangement in the other direction.
