A shearwall assembly includes a first concrete and a second concrete column and a protrusion extending from a connection end of the respective concrete columns. Each protrusion has two side surfaces and a center surface. A pair of horizontal slab panels are positioned between the respective connecting ends of the first and second concrete columns and abutting the two side surfaces of the respective protrusions. A horizontal reinforcement extends from the center surface of the respective protrusions and between the respective trusses. Concrete is poured at a volume formed between the pair of horizontal slab panels and the first and second concrete columns.

LIQUID AND GAS-IMPERMEABLE CONNECTIONS FOR PANELS OF STAY-IN-PLACE FORM-WORK SYSTEMS

A stay-in-place form comprises a plurality of elongated panels connectable to one another in edge-to-edge relationship. The plurality of panels comprises first and second panels connectable to one another in edge-adjacent relationship by a connection which comprises a contact joint. The first panel comprise a longitudinally extending first seal-retaining projection shaped to project outwardly from the outer surface of the first panel at a location spaced apart from a first outer-surface transverse edge of the first panel in a first transverse direction. The second panel comprising a longitudinally extending second seal-retaining projection shaped to project outwardly from the outer surface of the second panel at a location spaced apart from a second outer-surface transverse edge of the second panel in a second transverse direction opposite the first transverse direction. The first and second seal-retaining projections and the outer surfaces of the first and second panels defining at least a portion of a seal-receiving concavity which opens outwardly from the form when the connection is made.

STRUCTURAL WALL WITH A STRUCTURE EXOGENOUS TO THE LONGITUDINAL AXIS THEREOF FOR ENABLING THE INSIDE OF THE WALL TO BE FILLED ON SITE
20180148923 · 2018-05-31 ·

Structural wall with frame in wood, metal, plastic, polycarbonate or other resistant material that has no diagonals or chains strengtheners on its longitudinal axis or, in their absence, its structure is reticulated or articulated. This wall Gets the necessary rigidity through a structuring external to its longitudinal axis by different diagonal elements attached to studs or pillars and slabs, in way to allow a spill or padding to your interior with materials that you they give this wall performance of habitability, such as thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, thermal inertia and resistance the fire, using very cheap fillers as the soil of the place or simple mixtures as the with chaff mud, mud with expanded polystyrene, light concrete, soil with chip wood, soil and volcanic ash, or even the use of industrial waste as chopped tires or other items, some difficult to recycle; In short, you can use a wide range of fillers, depending on the specific need. This way of structuring allows, through the possibility of access at work inside a padded, improving ostensibly simple, fast and economic benefits of habitability of the walls, being easily prefabricate and industrialize, and with a great variety of applications in homes and various types of buildings.

Disclosed is an economical and effective way of producing a modular retaining wall for a material to be retained, using only blocks which in and of themselves are of insufficient thickness to function as retaining wall blocks. The modular wall includes backer blocks and facing blocks which are connected by separate connectors in a back to back, spaced apart arrangement, thereby forming a hollow retaining wall. The hollow wall is filled with loose filler material to increase the mass and retaining capacity of the wall. None of the wall components is embedded in the material to be retained. Further disclosed are wall components and a wall kit for a modular retaining wall. A double sided decorative wall is also disclosed. The modular wall system allows for the construction of retaining walls and freestanding, double sided, decorative walls forming both straight and curved walls.
