Systems and methods for creating insulated sandwich walls with a prefabricated framework are provided. An inner strongback faces an outer strongback. Outer and inner support members are located between the strongbacks. The strongbacks and support members extend vertically from a base. Material for an outer wall, such as concrete, is deposited between the outer strongback and outer support member. Material for an inner wall is deposited between the inner strongback and inner support member. An insulating material is deposited between the outer and inner support members providing longitudinal spacing for the framework.

A concrete form includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall positioned in parallel and spaced relation to each other, where the first sidewall has a first passage extending therethrough, with a first insert received in the first passage of the first sidewall. The form also includes a first cross tie having opposed first and second ends, where the first sidewall is removably secured to the first end of the first cross tie and the second sidewall is secured to the second end of the first cross tie. A first fastener extends through the first passage and engages the first insert and the first end of the first cross tie to removably secure the first sidewall to the first cross tie. The second sidewall may be removably or non-removably secured to the first cross tie.

A wall system including a plurality of panel assemblies, each having a reduced thickness for use in connection with a portion of a building structure. The panel assembly comprises two panel members disposed in interconnecting relation, collectively defining an air gap that is generally filled with a filler material such as concrete. Removable support members are further included and disposed on an outside face of a corresponding panel member. The removable support members may comprise corrugated steel panels that may be held in place along with the panel members by retainers that interconnect the panels and/or removable support members. Wire mesh may be disposed within the air gap. One or more panel assemblies may be interconnected via a connecting assembly. The connecting assembly may comprise a U-shaped channel with one or more apertures.
