Curtain wall and set and construction method for such a curtain wall
The curtain wall includes mullion profiles, transom profiles and one or more panels, where the mullion profiles extend vertically, where the transom profiles each are attached to two mullion profiles and extend horizontally, where the mullion profiles are provided with a groove on each side for receiving the side edge of a panel. The grooves have an access opening, where the access opening has a first fixed dimension or width in a horizontal direction, where the transom profiles have a second dimension in a horizontal direction and at right angles to the profile direction of the transom profiles, where the second dimension is larger than the first dimension, where the transom profiles have a third dimension in a non-horizontal direction at right angles to the profile direction, where the third dimension is smaller than the first dimension.
Curtain wall
Curtain wall including mullion profiles, transom profiles and panels, where the mullion profiles extend vertically, with the transom profiles being fixed at right angles to the mullion profiles, where the transom profiles and the mullion profiles define rectangular openings. The panels are placed in the openings to close these openings, where the panels are secured by means of first glazing beads, that are attached to the mullion profile by means of first attachment aids, where the first attachment aids and the mullion profiles are designed to attach the first attachment aids to the mullion profile, where the first attachment aids and the first glazing beads are designed to snap the first glazing beads onto the first attachment aids.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR INTERLOCKING UNITIZED CURTAINWALL BUILDING FAÇADE
The present invention relates to the exterior building envelope systems. This invention particularly relates to a façade system supported by a continuous anchor secured to the slab without embedded attachments.
Wall element for a curtain wall with a compartment for a wing and a sealing element
A sealing to seal a wall element with a fixed frame having mullions and transoms with perpendicular ends with which the transoms are attached between the mullions. The fixed frame is fitted with at least one compartment with a rebate for a frame part with an infill element to create a wing that opens, or to replace a damaged infill element, where the seal is intended to create a windproof and watertight connection between the mullions and transoms in the corners of an aforementioned compartment, where the seal is made as a corner piece that is formed and sized such that, on the level of the corners to be sealed, it fits in the form of the rebate in the mullion and transom in question and overlaps and covers the connection between this mullion and transom at the level of the rebate.
WINDOW WALL SYSTEM
A window wall system includes a plurality of window wall modules for forming at least in part a facade of a building. Each window wall module is connected between two consecutive concrete slabs of the building and includes a bottom rail, a top rail, two vertical mullions, and a window panel. The system also includes a plurality of anchoring brackets for connecting the bottom rail of each window wall module to a respective one of the concrete slabs, and a plurality of preformed sealing membranes. Each anchoring bracket is configured to be affixed to a top surface of the respective one of the concrete slabs. Each sealing membrane sealingly engages the bottom rail of a corresponding window wall module. Each sealing membrane is interlocked with a respective one of the anchoring brackets to retain the sealing membrane in place. Each sealing membrane is made of an elastomeric material.
Curtain wall
A curtain wall including one or more mullion profiles and one or more transom profiles, where the one or more mullion profiles extend vertically, the one or more transom profiles are attached horizontal between two mullion profiles. A barrier for water is provided on the fixing points of the transom profiles to the mullion profiles, where the barrier is adapted to divert this water to a the transom profile, where the transom profiles is adapted to drain this water to the outside of the curtain wall.
Curtain wall with a wall element with a frame with a compartment for a wing or the like and method for replacing an infill element in a curtain wall
A curtain wall constructed from prefabricated connecting wall elements including a frame of assembled profiles on the inside of the curtain wall and of one or more filling elements on the outside. The curtain wall contains a wall element with a two-part frame including two subframes, respectively a fixed frame part and a second frame part fitted with an infill element, where the fixed frame part is located behind the second frame part seen from the outside of the curtain wall, where the fixed frame part is equipped with a rebate into which the second frame part fits and where the relevant filling element is attached to the outside of the curtain wall on the outward looking side of the second frame part using structural silicone in such a way that this outside of the second frame part is entirely covered by the filling element.
UNITIZED CURTAINWALL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
This document discusses, among other things, unitized curtain systems and methods related to the fabrication and installation of curtainwalls. A curtainwall unit may comprises a frame including a horizontal gutter, a horizontal sill, a first vertical mullion between a first end of the horizontal gutter and a second end of the horizontal sill, and a second vertical mullion between a second end of the horizontal gutter and a second end of the horizontal sill. The horizontal gutter may include a rear channel extending across the horizontal gutter, and at least one protected horizontal channel at least partially beneath the rear channel, the rear channel having at least one opening to the at least one horizontal gutter. Each vertical mullion may include a protected vertical chamber having an opening to the at least one protected horizontal channel.
Method and apparatus for producing a tubular sealing element
A method for producing of a tubular sealing element for sealing a safing slot in a curtain wall construction is described, particularly for sealing the slot with regard to noise, smoke, and fire and if applicable with regard to water, and an apparatus for producing such a tubular sealing element, as well as to the use of the tubular sealing element produced according to the invention for fire-, smoke-, sound- and water-proof sealing of perimeter joints in curtain wall constructions are described. In particular, an improved method for continuous and endless production of a tubular sealing element for different safing slot dimensions is described.
