Systems for Recessing Subfloor Structures
A flooring installation includes at least two floor supports separated from one another by a span distance, the floor supports each having lateral, vertical side walls between which an opening is defined. A bay is defined between the floor supports. A primary subfloor is supported atop and attached to one of the at least two floor supports, the primary subfloor including an overhanging portion overhanging a portion of the bay. A spanning brace is disposed between the at least two floor supports in the bay, the spanning brace engaging on opposing ends the lateral, vertical side walls of the floor supports, one end of the spanning brace extending beneath and spaced from the overhanging portion of the primary subfloor. A recessed subfloor panel is supported atop the spanning brace, the recessed subfloor panel being supported at a lower elevation than the overhanging portion of the adjacent, primary subfloor.
Systems for recessing subfloor structures
A method is provided for supporting a recessed subfloor panel in a lowered position relative to an adjacent, primary subfloor, the primary subfloor being supported from beneath by one or more floor supports. The method includes positioning a spanning brace between a pair of floor supports and adjusting a length of the spanning brace such that the spanning brace engages and is supported by lateral, vertical sides of the pair of floor supports. A recessed subfloor panel is supported atop the spanning brace, the recessed subfloor panel being supported at a lower elevation than an adjacent, primary subfloor.
PANEL AND SLAB DESIGNED FOR FORMING A FLOOR OR A WALL AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH PANELS AND SLABS
A panel designed for forming a floor or a wall, including several beams, each beam including an armature fixed to a base, each base being made from a settable fixing material, the panel including a support having several formwork parts arranged salient from a surface receiving the support, the formwork parts forming housings to respectively receive the beams and having a bottom that is formed by the surface receiving the support, each beam being located in a respective housing where the base of the beam is fixed to the bottom of the housing, the support being formed by a single piece.
REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF UNEXPIRED CONCRETE BUILDING FLOORS
The present invention relates to a reinforcing structure of unexpired concrete building floors used for reinforcing a concrete column, a concrete beam and a concrete floor slab. The structure has: at least one external column each of the at least one external column wrapping around the concrete column; at least one framework each wrapping around the concrete beam; a plurality of brackets fixedly mounted to the lower surface of the concrete floor slab, and a base plate disposed at the bottom of the concrete column, wherein the bottom of each of the at least one external column is fixed to the base plate, the top of each of the at least one external column is fixed to a corresponding one of the at least one framework, and the corresponding framework is fixed to the plurality of brackets along a length direction of the concrete beam.
REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF CONCRETE OVERHEAD LAYER
The present disclosure relates to a field of construction engineering, and in particular to a reinforcing structure of a concrete overhead layer before a building expires. The reinforcing structure of the concrete overhead layer includes supporting structures, connecting structures, and metal members; wherein the reinforcing structure is configured to reinforce a concrete floor slab and/or a concrete beam; through holes are disposed on the concrete floor slab; each of the supporting structures passes through each of the through holes and the supporting structures are configured to support the concrete floor slab and/or the concrete beam; and each of the connecting structures is configured to fix each of the supporting structures on each of the metal members; each of the metal members is disposed on each of the through holes.
Framing device for a glass floor
A framing device for a floor structure utilizing a glass floor unit having a durable glass portion and a fire-rated glass portion. A support is positioned to exert a force on the glass floor unit. A shield protects the surfaces of the glass floor unit and forms a pocket for the support.
Building assemblies and methods for constructing a building using pre-assembled floor-ceiling panels and walls
A building system may include at least one diaphragm beam having opposite ends connected to an external structural frame of a building, at least one pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel adjacent to a vertical side of and coupled to the diaphragm beam, and at least one pre-assembled wall adjacent to a horizontal side of and coupled to the diaphragm beam. The diaphragm beam may be filled with a mineral-based material, such as concrete. The one or more pre-assembled floor-ceiling panels may each include a plurality of joists extending perpendicular to the diaphragm beam, a floor-panel including at least one metal layer attached to the joists on a floor side of the pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel, and a ceiling panel including at least one layer comprising mineral-based material attached to the joists on a ceiling side of the pre-assembled floor-ceiling panel. The one or more pre-assembled walls may include interior and/or exterior walls of a building.
End Cap Product
An end cap for preventing ingress of moisture to the end face of a structural beam, wherein said structural beam comprises metal, stone, concrete, reinforced concrete, or a mixture thereof; said end cap comprising: (i) an end plate having a shape matching the transverse cross-section of said structural beam; and (ii) a skirt for holding said end plate in position; wherein said end plate and said skirt comprise or consist of a material for preventing transmission of moisture.
BUILDING STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a lightweight concrete building structure using pre-stressed lightweight structural beams 46 with a lightweight floor panel (48) spanning between beams (46). In a particular arrangement, the parking system using building structure (10) may be about less than half the weight than traditional parking building structures. In accordance with one arrangement of the particular embodiment of the invention, the building structure comprises floor structures having one or more structural beams, and one of more lightweight panels for attachment to the structural beam, wherein the floor structure is defined by joining together the one or more lightweight structural beams and the one of more lightweight panels. This particular arrangement is particularly useful because it permits defining a floor structure capable of sustaining relative large loads (such as a multitude of vehicles) using lightweight floor panels.
