EDGE PROTECTION SYSTEM HAVING CLIP RETAINMENT
An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, wherein the system includes a retaining clip for retaining the second part to the first part, and the first part is slideable relative to the second part to engage the retaining clip against removal from the first and second parts.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CEILING ELEMENT AND CEILING FORMWORK
The invention relates to a ceiling formwork and a method for producing a ceiling element, comprising the following steps: arranging two ceiling supports on a floor, connecting a first end region of a ceiling formwork frame to the two ceiling supports such that the ceiling formwork frame is arranged in an intermediate position inclined downward from the first end region in the direction of a second end region, connecting a lost ceiling plate to the ceiling formwork frame arranged in the intermediate position, pivoting the second end region of the ceiling formwork frame up, together with the lost ceiling plate, supporting the second end region of the ceiling formwork frame that has been pivoted up by at least one additional ceiling support and casting the ceiling element, together with the lost ceiling plate, on the ceiling formwork frame.
System For Fixing To The Ground Walls Of Buildings
System for fixing to the ground walls of a building includes a plurality of supporting elements interposed between a concrete foundation of the building and the walls, connecting elements for connecting at least two supporting elements that are aligned on one another, adjusting elements for adjusting a distance of the supporting elements from the foundation and for correcting a possible tilt of the supporting elements with respect to a horizontal reference plane, anchoring elements for anchoring the supporting elements to the foundation, the supporting elements being made of plastics.
Universal Barrier System Panels
A universal barrier system includes universal barrier components that may be assembled together to shield floors and walls from moisture and provide a thermal break in an operational area of the universal barrier component. A lap zone of the universal barrier component may allow universal barrier components to be assembled and installed to protect floors, walls, ceilings, footings and the like from moisture and heat gain or loss by minimizing the need for tapes and other joining methods. The universal barrier system may also act as a sound deadening material. The operational area and lap zone of the universal barrier component may be disposed on a vapor block layer to provide some rigidity. The operational area of the universal barrier component may include a thermal break disposed upon the vapor block layer. The thermal break may include an outer protective layer. In addition, universal barrier tape and universal barrier edging may be provided to couple adjoining universal barrier components.
Drainage devices and system
A drainage device for use under the floor of a building to facilitate drainage of water along a foundation of the building under the floor. The drainage device can include a corner drainage device that is capable of assuming a number of near 90 degree shapes so that the drainage device can be easily fitted to the corner of the foundation. A bridge drainage device permits more rapid installation of the drainage devices. The bridge device can be used to bridge between two drainage devices so that it is not necessary to cut the drainage devices precisely to fit on a footing of any selected length.
Stay-in-Place Forms and Methods and Equipment for Installation Thereof
Stay-in-place forms and methods and equipment for installing thereof. A concrete form includes a vertical component and a horizontal component, the vertical component located substantially perpendicular to the horizontal component. Also, the form includes an interior surface, at least a portion of the interior surface providing a form for supporting uncured concrete; wherein the uncured concrete forms a concrete structural portion upon curing of the uncured concrete; and wherein the interior surface remains attached to the concrete structural portion after curing. The form may include inserts and compatible form attachments. Also, forms including recesses may be utilized to reduce the weight thereof. Lifting equipment and accessories may be utilized to lift the form from a form holder and set same in place. Forms contain the work area as soon as it is installed to minimize fall hazards and the time, costs, and downtime associated with installation of safety measures.
Foundation/sidewall construction method and kit
An architectural foundation assembly comprising a horizontal slab including a top surface, a bottom surface, and an outside surface; a vertical slab in contact with the horizontal slab, the vertical slab including a top surface, an outside surface, and an inside surface, the top surface defining a shelf having a horizontal surface and a vertical surface; and at least one structural element attached to the shelf and in contact with the top surface of the vertical slab, the at least one structural element including a top surface which is flush with the top surface of the horizontal slab, the at least one structural element not in contact with the vertical surface of the shelf, thereby creating a thermal air gap between the at least one structural element and the vertical surface of the shelf.
Joint edge assembly and method for forming joint in offset position
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a joint edge assembly and method of positioning and installing joint edge assembly for adjacent concrete slabs. The method includes positioning the joint edge assembly in an offset position from the joint. The method of various embodiments also includes using a plurality of height adjusters or plates fixed to the slab engagement surface of the one of the joint edge members to adjust or assist in adjusting the height of the joint edge assembly relative to the formwork and relative to the plane of the top surfaces of the concrete slabs.
CEMENT FORM WITH EXTENSION
A cement form assembly includes cement and a cement form. The cement form can include a ground facing surface extending horizontally on a ground support surface and a cement facing surface extending vertically and contacting the cement. An extension member extends outward from the cement form and includes a surface that extends the ground facing surface or the cement facing surface. The cement form and the extension member are each made, at least partially, of a foam material.
