Rail for suspended ceiling comprising expansion absorbers
A novel design of rails for a suspended ceiling, the rails including expansion absorbers. The absorbers are produced so that the rails can absorb an expansion while maintaining the integrity of the ceiling, so that the ceiling panels do not fall in the event of a fire. The rails maintain a significant load-bearing capacity despite the presence of one or more expansion absorbers over the length thereof.
ATTACHMENT COMPONENTS AND SYSTEM FOR CEILING PANELS
An attachment system providing for connecting ceiling panels to a grid of suspended T-bars, may include plural plates attached to the upper surface of the ceiling panel. Each plate may include a standoff that offsets the plate's main surface to provide a space between the plate and the panel where a yoke may be captured but remain movable in a horizontal plane a sufficient amount to improve alignment of the ceiling panels. Each spring yoke may couple a spring to a slot on a spring holster on the grid of suspended bars. Each spring may be provided with first and second positioning mechanisms cooperating with the slot in the spring holster to provide an installed position and an accessible position. The system may include one or more alignment clips and stiffener clips and stiffener bars. The alignment clips may cooperate with the spring yokes' movability relative to the panel for alignment of adjacent panels. The stiffener bars may cooperate with the stiffener clips and the plates to allow horizontal expansion and contraction and prevent vertical warping of the panel.
System, method and apparatus for wall support of ceiling suspension grid
A ceiling suspension system is disclosed and includes a plurality of grid members configured to form a grid for the ceiling suspension system, each grid member comprising a bulb, a web and a flange. The system also includes a plurality of wall support brackets configured to mount the grid to walls in a structure. Each wall support bracket comprises a vertical back, a lower flange at a lower end of the vertical back, and an upper flange at an upper end of the vertical back. Further, the upper flange is generally V-shaped when viewed longitudinally and each wall support bracket only one tab in the lower flange for each grid member. Moreover, the only one tab is configured to engage and retain the flange of a respective grid member, such that the respective grid member rests on the lower flange.
SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM, SECURING MEMBERS, AND PROCESS OF INSTALLING A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system which includes a substrate and securing members configured to engage a grid system to mount the substrate to the grid system. The securing members may include a mounting flange positioned with its bottom surface adjacent to the substrate. The mounting flange may be coupled to the substrate via fasteners. The securing members may further include a positioning member protruding from a top surface of the mounting flange and terminating in a distal edge. The positioning member may have a first side edge and a second side edge. The securing members may include a grid engagement member extending from the distal edge of the positioning member. The grid engagement member may be located centrally between the first and second side edges of the positioning member. The grid engagement member may have a U-shaped engagement portion configured to engage a grid member of the grid system.

Modular ceiling system
A structural grid support system adapted for transferring seismic loads to the vertical structural supports of a modular structure. The system includes larger and longer high load capacity main runners with mechanically fastened cross tees, which transfer seismic forces without failing. The structural grid can provide a diaphragm using mechanically fastened connections in a single horizontal plane without requiring additional overhead support from the roof deck, or requiring fewer such supports. The main runners may include additional connecting elements disposed within the usable space beneath the runner (e.g., ventral threaded receivers) for attaching deployment-specific equipment or hardware, such as network cable trays.
Multifunctional ceiling support assembly for use in a suspended ceiling system
A multifunctional support assembly for use in a suspended ceiling system having a T-bar grid arrangement supporting ceiling tiles. The multifunctional ceiling support assembly comprises an elongate body having an elongate planar base portion having first and second lateral ends, first and second longitudinal ends, and a top plane; first and second connecting members each positioned at the first and second longitudinal ends of the elongate body and configured with support portions capable of attachment to the T-bar grid arrangement; and a third connecting member mounted on the top plane of the elongate body, the third connecting extends up from the elongate body and functions to separate and position ceiling tiles within the T-bar grid arrangement.
CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system includes a supporting structure having a plurality of main runners made of an electrically conductive material. The main runners are arranged such that a first space is formed between at least one main runner and a first adjacent main runner and a second space is formed between the at least one main runner and a second adjacent main runner. An electric device is supported by the main runners and is arranged in the first or second space. A power source is arranged to apply an electric voltage between the main runners. The electric device includes connectors that are in electric contact with the main runners such that the electric device is powered by the applied electric voltage.
Ceiling grid lighting assembly with linear lighting modules in parallel arrangement
A ceiling grid lighting assembly for use in suspended ceiling systems is provided with multiple linear lighting modules in parallel arrangement. End plates are used to connect, support, and enclose longitudinal ends of the elongate body of each linear lighting modules while simultaneously functioning as reflective faces for optical cavities. A configured gap spacing between individual linear lighting modules can be used to house and support components such as additional light sources, acoustic or decorative panels, HVAC components, or power systems, controls or sensors. The end plate can also be configured to allow a T-bar to be placed in the configured gap spacing thereby enabling the mounting of the assembly in-line upon the longitudinal axis of a ceiling grid T-bar. Embodiments of linear lighting modules are presented comprising LED light sources, light guides and diffusers housed within the elongate body. The light guides may be edgelit from one or two sides and aligned horizontally or tilted relative to the ceiling grid plane.
Mounting bracket assembly for attachment to a suspended ceiling
A mounting bracket assembly for attachment to a horizontally disposed rail of a suspended ceiling system is provided which includes identical first and second mounting bracket members. The mounting bracket assembly of this invention is designed to be attached to the flanges of the rail and attached to one another so as to be able to support an article or object therefrom and the suspended ceiling system.
